Alch, really appreciate all your work with the breakdowns and content through the course of this run. you're by far my favorite content creator & I really believe you make a product unlike anyone else out there. have you thought about putting up a breakdown for one of these games early in the season on youtube to market your patreon? that's how i found you early in the dynasty and ive been watching ever since. hoping for your success + recognition to continue to grow this season

Jordan stole the show but Bjelica and Porter looked great too. Maybe premature but the role filling up an down the roster is giving shades of the 2014-15 roster. Up and down the roster every guy offers different skillsets. The only major concern I have is penetration to the rim. Right now it's just Steph and Jordan who can do that. Hopefully Wiggins, Wiseman, and Kuminga can sprinkle in some extra pressure at the rim. Health will be everyhting this year

I love Wiseman, but he should watch some Brian Cardinal tape to see what he's gonna have to do this year. There's a place from him, but he has to box out as soon as anybody crosses half court, and I'm in favor of giving him a $100k bonus every time he sets a screen and the defender gets shook or falls over

Nice to have you back. This season, even when Klay comes back, it’s going to be interesting to see how well the team defends backcourts. Poole is going to have his challenges, and a lot of the roster seems more tailored to defend wings and forwards. I wonder if teams like the Blazers or Suns might be a little tougher to defend this year.

Looks like the Warriors are trending towards top 5 in 3-pt attempts this season as a team. If we can average 35% every night like tonight, I'll gladly take that number.

So much fun to have this style of Dubs basketball back to see-looks very promising this year! Keeping it flowing organically-seems like a good idea. My big question is how does Wiseman fit into this team being so far behind? Are they thinking he could play this style of ball? I know he runs but I've not seen him pass too much. How he is brought along is going to be fascinating.

The whole vibe of the team looked different. Haven't seen the guys look confident like that in a while. I've got a feeling kuminga is here to stay, but moody and wiseman are getting moved for an upgrade.

Our style is more centered around curry than kerr in terms of philosophy….that’s the difference…i just don’t like the way we’re putting up 3s…with our small roster, every rebound is important and trying to outshoot the opponent is going to make us lose games due to the size disadvantage….

Long shots mean long rebounds, long rebounds quickness is more important than length most of the time. I agree though we should be slashing to the basket more. Poole showed that a bit as well though so I'm optimistic. They were just feeling it tonight and gotta shoot when you're hot!

Once Lillard sat the Blazers were a bottom-of-the-division team........The game was won in the early 3rd quarter when JTA was everywhere, he is a difference maker........Does anyone remember Poole's first season; he was as bad as any rookie I've ever seen, clank, clank, clank, so remember that when you write off Moody after one quarter of a preseason game.........I miss Chriss, wish we could reacquire him, he seems to fit with the Warriors in ways that he doesn't with other squads..........And remember that Kuminga step-around, the first sign of a future superstar.

First preseason looked promising. I know injuries will happen but I hope we go in strong on the back end of the season with our rotations in tact and peoples roles, known. Please God let the players stay healthy. Going to be a wild ride! Pause.

Most impressed by Bjelica to be honest. I wasn't sure what we get exactly from him but I think if he stays healthy we may get the best version of him yet. I think he will thrive in Kerr's system. Porter looking solid too. Poole obviously exciting but sort of expected given his increased role in place of Klay. The issue to address will be his defense how much does a back court of him and Steph give up compared to what they get? I don't think it will be Dam and CJ bad on that end but it will likely be worse than we are accustomed to seeing from the Splash Bros. I really hope they make a concerted effort all season to get production from Dray and Loones on the offensive end. They don't need to be big numbers but just something to help out and spread the defence some.

I think backcourt defense will come along with Poole and Steph, we already see how it might've worked last season when theywere closing out games together and they were quite decent defensively. Steph has never been a bad defender and Poole looks like he gained more strength, he just needs more exposure to defensive scenarios to get experience

Poole was going for the 3pt record before Kerr pulled him out lol. Also no team in the league uses Quese better than the warriors, its a shame that our roster doesn't really have a place for him this year but maybe next year I would like to see a reunion

I still think Quese would be a good pickup as our lineup of Bigs is still too small and maybe not the most durable. But yeah you can only imagine that he said no to them rather than the other way around.

Day 1 was good. (Hi Alc!) So the general consensus is that people like the new lean-in foul rule. Of course these people have conveniently forgotten how inconsistent the refs are - especially with Steph - so hopefully they keep in mind how frustrating it can be for players try their best to do their job while putting up with the refs bullshit.
