"You think he's into tentacles? Anime?" ... I had to pause the video right there cause Alch is wilding 💀💀💀

If Kuminga is fully engaged in a 1-1 defensive situation he can lock anybody down with his frame and speed, but I'm not sure he can give that kind of effort consistently.

kuminga coming for draymonds spot

I'm prepping myself for more Myers shenanigans. I was happy to see that Kuminga and Moody both were taken and had fallen into the Warriors lap. I was happy to see that the obvious draft picks were chosen by the Warriors cabal. Thanks to the Gods! I'm not a big Myers fan AT ALL. I'm still pissed that Warriors picked up Wiseman and not Ball. But OK, I'll wait. I'll see how this pans out. First of all, I don't consider Kuminga and Moody tradeable options. Way, way too much upside potential. No way you will get value for these guys. Kuminga has a raw energy, a downhill mentality, court awareness and some tricks in a bag. Way better than wiseman. This can all be refined. And if it is refined, ooh-wee, watch out. And Moody is smooth and man with a shot. Great potential. Other non-tradeable Curry, Thompson, Draymond, Juan Toscano, Looney, Second, major tradeable options are Wiggins, Wiseman, Mulder But this is what I expect. I expect Myers to trade Kuminga, Looney, Juan T, maybe Moody and a bunch of draft picks, for someone bad, like Simmons. Shit, I would already take Kuminga over Simmons at the end of a game right now. And why are the Warriors even still looking at Justinian? Myers seems to be an unexciting man filled with ennui. I've seen too many interviews. Like that one he did in the previous summer league game., ickkkk! How the hell can he even tell who has potential? How can he appreciate energy, excitement, joy, a savage? How can he sense deeper rapport in a player and in a team? He can't and he will trade away teams soul, because he can barely sense his own. Yep, that's it. I said it. I mean, look at this mans record. Bridge troll is the epitome. I hope I'm totally wrong. Oh, please, let me be wrong.

I think given the circumstances-the 2021 NBA Draft worked out extremely well for the Golden State Warriors at 7 and 14. Thanks go out to Minnesota Timberwolves for the 7th pick for DLo. Jonathan Kuminga has factors (competitiveness, confidence, unflappable for the most part, communication skills) on top of talent that make him seem more prepared than James Wiseman was. I have to say-putting James Wiseman in his first NBA game against KD and the Nets was really a freaky way to start your career when you've only played 3 NCAA games. Not having any Summer League, 2020 training camp, having COVID, missing practices-all that really made last year a year that was not optimal. And still-he was 12 points 6 rebounds a game. The future is bright and I do think that Moody can start and play a supportive role pretty quick while Klay is getting ready. Not from a scoring perspective but more from a defensive savvy and team play persective. If Andrew Wiggins continues to be comfortable in the system and upping his game that would help too. Very much excited this year-please, take care to not get injured everyone! If that's possible.

He's 18 so chances are he's gonna keep growing

“Oh he’s winning on AND off the court” 💀 alch you’re comedy

If Stephen Curry is going out to dinner with Moses Moody-of course that's not a guarantee Moody stays. But-if the Warriors brass are listening to Steph and what he wants-that's probably a good sign. The ennui you speak of-I think that's just Meyers trying to deflect yet another interview with "Warriors-speak" just to get them off his back. Meyers is the same guy that didn't trade Klay for Kevin Love-he's the same guy that got Klay in the first place, he's the same guy that got Draymond, Harrison Barnes and a contributor to the 2015 NBA Chip in Ezili (before he got injured-he gave his best for that Finals run). I'd say his average is pretty good. He brought in Kevon Looney and Looney looked like a waste of time until he turned around his health and voila-he's the starting center and a big contributor to the 2018 NBA championship run. I think that there's a lot of Daryl Morey noise being spun about for the bots to go crazy with compiling YouTube hits and fake interest. If for some reason they REALLY want some spoiled non-shooter in clutch moments like Simmons-don't touch the latest draft picks. Wiseman I'd be reluctanly OK with but that's not going to happen.

yeah I saw murphys winning off the court too hahaha

Glad you pointed out that 2 on 1 where the dude completely died on the play. If you don't want to be here just pack up and hit the road. That was bad. Also Trey Murphy wanted to massage the ball in the clutch but Willie Green wasn't having it he ended up eating off the glass for the game winner anyway. But interesting that you pointed that out about his ability to create off the bounce. Apparently pels new coach ain't got that confidence in him yet. But the dude Murphy looks a bit more than a shooter to me. If Kuminga gonna play bully ball he better watch how zion finishes over length by basically jumping into the defenders chest hanging and then finishing. Murphy the 1st dude I've seen completely stifle him, probably caught JK off guard. I can see Kuminga being interchangeable with JTA if he learns the nuances and tricks. He's bigger and more athletic. He's bigger than Draymond so I can see him guarding the 4 position. next to dray in small ball lineup. He can probably protect rim better than everyone on the roster other than Wiseman but seems to have better timing and instincts than Wiseman.

he gonna really need to go to the school of Iguodala... He got the tools but his positioning and fundamentals ain't there yet. He can easily stifle summer league guys but just as easily get blown by. He gotta be committed to sitting in the chair the right way.

athleticalchemy

might be.. you got think about what there gonna ask him to do tho too... NOP is just gonna have him spotting up 24/7... JTA IG Dray the rub he is going to get form those guys is going to be super valuable the next 2 years or so. You can already see he will use the lil tricks and play smarter not harder just got learn m

Kuminga's build is crazy.

Russ

Please Meyers don't trade Kuminga. He will improve his shot and grow stronger and taller in the next 2-3 years. If he's 6'8" now he's an inch or so taller and a lot bigger/stronger in the next couple years. I don't want Simmons unless we get him very cheap, like Wiseman and nobody else which won't happen so I don't want Warriors giving away Moody, Wiggins or Kuminga for Simmons. And Philly will want 2 of those 3. Keep the kids, they both could help come playoffs and they could be a big part of our future. I'll end with this - Don't trade Kuminga!

"Can never have too many shooters" = Ben to Sacramento

Julian

Interesting interview there about Moody. His personality, demeanor and overall skillset is exactly what the Warriors need. His college coach said he learned extremely fast, and the Warrior organization is saying the same. Seems to have crazy high IQ, he is the perfect partner to Steph until Klay is back.

Excited to see this roster fill out with this athletic group of picks, possible 2 way contract guys. albiet the occasional scrub. I like McLaughlin but chiozza makes him redundant, no?. Keep KingK, GP2 and Moody on roster. McL, Guy on 2ways, plug them in and out of roster. There was another big that showed pretty well for us in Vegas. Or poach a big from another g leage team for a 2way to supplement in case of injury. Alch, maybe you would enjoy a kings game if davion mitchell can get on the court and they dont hold him off.

Natto Santo

To me, I would trade Wiseman while other teams would still pay a high price. like Joe Angles+ draft picks or Buddy Hield + draft picks. Wiseman is injury-prone big man, and never talked in the game, have a low basketball IQ. He may work his way to be a starting Center in the league but not a dominate one, and not reliable during playoffs because of injury-prone. If we put him on the court with Kuminga, Wiseman will eat up all the spacing in the lane and Kuminga will have no room to operate. We need Bjelica type of Centre, who can really shoot 3s, OR type of Centre can really defend well in the paint. We do not need Ben Simmons, who will just be a distraction.

yeah that's true zion and ingram both ball dominant. will be Interesting to see. they didnt lie when they said this was a deep draft will be cool seeing who breaks out this year

What was up with Fran Fraschillas love affair with Ben Simmons? He was ready to trade Wiseman, Wiggins, Poole, kuminga, moody and 4 firsts right then and there lol

Anonymous

Yeah what the Fran ...? And the announcer next to him was sayin, "being courtside with Kuminga there is no way I would trade him... you can see he has the IT factor", (which i think he does). Then Fran kept goin... thank god he's not our GM.

I would love to see some of your takes on other teams/prospects if the game tomorrow is lackluster. Hoping to see some exciting basketball out of the two undefeated matchups tomorrow! Hoping for good basketball would be too much, I'll settle for entertaining TV lol

Im like 90% sure that was the continued media attempt/narrative to get Ben Simmons back in the positive light with the NBA fanbase. Its desperate and pathetic tbh. They branded this dude the next Lebron and "all he needed was a jump shot". Now that they realize he's severely limited as a player and actually is unplayable in clutch time, they gotta stick to their guns. Trying to rejuvenate him with another team. No one wants him right now. So they got to manufacture his worth. Tbh, I think he'd be the best in a place in like Portland. Dame isn't a real PG anyway. Let Dame be the SG he truly wants to be. Either way though, his refusal to shoot will haunt him everywhere he goes

King Kuma is going to be very entertaining to watch

Its interesting... The path the warriors are taking. They are basically gambling that the youngs will develop enough to get a championship during stephs window. I hope it works out! But damn the future of the warriors are looking amazing!

How many 2-ways do you think we have?lol. GPII for the final roster spot and I bet Mulder gets moved into the last 2-way. The other guys can play for the sea dubs.
