Liked the defensive intensity from all in the first half. Wannamaker played better than I thought he would, Poole was very good, Smiley was indeed wretched on D. Dubs seem to know to a man (I'm sure they've been told by the staff) that if they really want to compete this year everybody one will have to give Max D effort all the time.

Another great breakdown. I really do like the focus on the defense and how that goes hand in hand with the new additions. Can’t wait for Draymond and finally Wiseman to start getting up to speed. Let’s hope those 2 finally get to at least work out in scrimmages this week.

Kerr is going to piss me off if he holds foolishly to this "egalitarian" offense. This ain't the warriors of yesteryear. Just put the ball in the Chef's hands and watch good things happen. Like last year will lose a bunch of games early on if Kerr holds to the old ways. this roster not built like that anymore

also I didn't see a whole lot from Nico. i thought he had a bad outing tbh. He looks like he's not ready for nba length or size. he's going to live in the g-league for a while.

Mulder and Mannion were a nice boost in this preseason game. Mulder can get crazy hot like Klay, only fitting his name is like Klay's dad. My biggest takeaway from this game was Good LORD I can't listen to our broadcast. Chatty, cringe, corny, fanboy...get them out! I was watching muted.

Ubre was jumping off the screen. I had my questions, but he really looked impressive.

sweet breakdown Alch. Loving the length and the D. Oubre looks like he could develop into a lockdown defender on ball. Poole looked nice too and we can use him taking up some solid minutes to give Steph a rest. I was a little disappointed with Paschall. He looked a little chunky to me as well as the shot showing no mechanical improvements.

The new kids on the team don't seem to be looking for the chef, and I'm pretty concerned about that. In the Warriors of the old the ball swings but everyone knows it's just a distraction and will be ending up in the chef's hands. In Kelly's second corner three, Paschall could've passed to Steph but didn't, it's at 3:46 on your video. I feel like the old warriors ran action to get Steph and Klay open, no one's ball watching, but now most players are just watching the ball instead of watching the off ball action. Maybe it's pre-season but I hate to see Steph's wasted efforts.

Is it really important to change Paschall's shooting mechanics alch? I don't remember him being a bad shooter last season. It just looks like this shooting form is ingrained into him and teaching him a new mechanic might mess with his confidence more. Mulder is good, he just can't shoot off the dribble. Our defense is looking good.

So happy to see them play. I love smaligic and jta i just feel like they were the weak links. They showed hustle and some smart plays but then showed horrible plays that were rushed. I think like u said smiley here to stay but jta man i like him and who he is but he just not were we need him to be yet.

I didn't know Lacob's son found Smiley.......hmmmm I hate the split screen! Myers & Lacob lost their train of thought a bit while watching the game anyway so what's the point. I like the extra space at the sidelines. Gives the players at the bench more room to cheer and walk around.

Nico looked sped up in the game when it came to his shooting. But that was expected as he comes in and faces true NBA caliber players for the first games. I was hoping he'd make some of those shots, but those misses were not unexpected. I really wanted that layup to go in. I liked how he handled the ball and his vision on the field though. A lot of those threes came from a Nico pass. Just seems to understand where people are.. at least that's what I can see from a few moments in a preseason game. :p

Knowing it’s only preseason and players are fighting for roster spots, it really did feel like a harken back to strength in numbers. Bench had good energy. If that becomes the identity again with all that youth, defense and athleticism, I’m here for it.

I have been on the Poole train since I met the dude last summer right after he got drafted. He’s a workhorse and I’m so happy with the growth and maturity he’s shown

Alc, agree most of the time on the hair thing. Just cant imagine that it wouldnt slow me down. However, I am watching Orlando right now and Cole Anthony needs to go all in. Get some color in there and tattoo 69 on his forehead

Warriors' perimeter defense look good. Draymond and Wiseman have their work cut out for them because Jokic put 26,10, and 5 on Chriss's head halfway through the second quarter.

I think a good takeaway is that Kelly needs resigned. The dubs would be crazy good this year and last year if Klay didnt get hurt.

unfortunately kerr is one of the more stubborn coaches in basketball, so the offense will still start with steph bringing up the ball and giving it up to draymond, while draymond looks to pass and being left open at 3. But the good thing is some adjustments were already made, more pick-n-roll and handoffs.

It is apparent James Wiseman will get important minutes in big games this season when we go up against elite Centers. Dubs are just too small with Loon and Chriss.

Apparently Kerr told Curry to let others get their buckets. I don't think he was all that aggressive in terms of demanding the ball and it seems everyone else knew that too.

I think once Dray's presence is reinserted into the rotation, it will a positive impact on Curry's rhythm. It's something that maybe we've overlooked when thinking about trading Dray, is how comfortable Steph is with dumping the ball to Dray and running circles.

There is always give and take, we use to have so many players that didn’t even look at the basket. This should ultimately make us less predictable. But yes feed chef when it time.

When you elevate like that outside of like 18ft it becomes very difficult to be consistent. It works well on that down hill pull up. But if he wants to shoot 3s it has to change.

Oh yeah the youth will show, but either way if they could put him on a team friendly 3 year deal at least he'd still have trade value. Rather than him walking of course

I’m sure if he was moved, that we have a few players that may be able to fill that role as a passing turret, but they would need to be groomed for such a role as it doesn’t usually come organically for most players.

I hope we don’t get destroyed by nets on opening night. They may ultimately malfunction as a team but right now they are definitely still in the honeymoon phase

Coach Nick also mentions how Giannis used to have a dip which he learned from Greek coaches. I'm not sure if the lack of a dip is a european thing. Now his base is super wide, he has no energy transfer from his lower body, and his release is effed up. I can't imagine how good Giannis would be if he had his old form back.
