I'm with you on Wiggins man. I want to see how he operates with the splash brothers AND Draymond (stop trying to trade him). I don't think you get peak Wiggins without Draymond there to motivate him.

1) the biggest knock against Wiggins is that people expect too much. What, 20 and D is not good enough? We all remember praying HB would make open shots .. Shots he got while everyone was swamping Klay and Steph. Wiggins puts up 20 as the #1 scoring option. I agree- why trade him, youll just be looking to get those points back. 2) The Finns beat the Russians during the Winter War. He tough. I like Markannen. 3) Instead of sending Wiggins and the pick out for Holiday, who is a ball handler, defender, etc, draft LaMelo and keep Wiggins. La Melos ceiling is WAY higher and he may even be a better impact very quickly. And you keep Wiggins. 4) You didnt comment on Wiggins and the 2 and the 2021 Wolves pick for The Slim Sleeper. Maybe bc its a trade machine fabrication. Maybe bc Ingram gets maxed? But- if all of a sudden Ingram tells NO hes out, this trade is not bad for them at all.

I'm with you on a lot of those trades, I understand wigs has a big contract but I take that out of the equation, I don't think our front office is looking for how to get out of paying, positionally I don't see any 3s that are available that other teams have any interest in trading that id take over wig right now

I think Wiggins would be good for us. The reason why I didn't like KD with us was because he became the number one option, and it affected curry. I can see Curry going off with Wiggins cause he will undoubtedly be the number one option. We won't see him hesitate anymore like he did when KD was on the floor. I really don't think we need big trades in order to be successful.

Yeah his 3pt shooting is pissing us off and he's gotta work out more...but I don't think his ego-checking, shit-talking has an expiration date. Jordan and Kobe had that killer drive that pushed their teammates to their peak performance. I don't think Steph and Klay can necessarily motivate the rest of the team to reach that level the same way Draymond (and Andre) could.

Call me a bit conservative (NOT politically mind you!) but-I'd really like to see Steph, Klay, Dray and Wiggins play together. Damn-it's been too long since the big 3 have been on the court at the same time-June 2019. Even without a draft pick-there are these 4s and 5s out there in free agency. How about Aaron Baynes making it up to Steph by joining his team and falling on some opponent's hand for a change? Or even Favors, Tristan Thompson or any one of those free agent bigs? Even without a draft pick-that's not bad. The play off strength of Steph, Klay, Dray is that ball movement, spacing, making the other team defend all the way to half court. No one has really done it better than they have-when Draymond is healthy and wants to. Most of the problem was Draymond didn't want to last year. But his intelligence and heart when he's engaged is a huge part of what makes the Dubs the Dubs. A big in free agency and this core 4 would be really interesting and a good team-add the right draft pick and you got something. Wiseman's last game as a freshman wasn't all that impressive-damn he's so young. I'd still love it if he came here but I'd also go for someone else if the Dubs got a Zaza-type or someone old and big who knows what their role is and can fit in with the Core 4.

I like Tristan as a player, great motor and can get out in PnR a bit. Wonder if he and Draymond really squashed their beef. Baynes would be amazing!... if he could play more than 50 gm a year. But at the right price he’d be worth a risk.

Last question hopefully: it might just be too late in this guys career given everything that's happened to him but: where is DeMarcus Cousins at these days? Is he still rehabbing? He certainly was a great addition when he was healthy.

Alch you are right. Keeping Wiggins is the right move now. I do like swapping the pick with Phoenix and getting Ubre and Toppin . But wouldn't Phoenix want more back from the Dubs than just the #2 pick?

I don't wanna see Draymond go but he'd be tough on the Mavs. That would be a very scary team IMO. I was wondering if you could post an alternate YT link on all videos (if it's too much work then don't) but it would be nice, the vimeo video player gives me issues for some reason.

I think the draymond trade makes sense for the mavs. Think if draymond were to get traded it would re ignite that fire in him that’d work in the mavs favor for sure

I think Jrue is probably better than Wiggins, but Wiggins just feels like a better positional fit for us. Plus Wiggins value will really only go up with us, so why trade him while he's low
