Dude I gotta say. I think Lebron just enjoyed his last ring. The Wild West is soon to be revived. GS is an instant contender with Steph and Klay healthy not to mention who they might bring in with the draft and FA. Clippers will have a playoff spot again and I don’t see the nuggets regressing. I just can’t imagine next year being this easy for the Lakers. If they can reach the finals they might just meet the Celtics or the Nets. Crazy to think what the NBA landscape is going to shape out to be.

If we're going by what cemented LeBron's legacy the most it's obviously 2016, but that shit has to be the most overrated road to a ring as well. Not only were the physicality of defenses completely lopsided the whole series but do Warriors fans not know that Draymond was NEVER supposed to get suspended? What he did was a technical foul that got unjustly upgraded to a flagrant (Draymond never made contact with LeBron'a groin) after incessant bitching from LeBron for a TWO game suspension. Weak. I actually have a compilation of LeBron's flagrant fouls throught the series that were never callrd. On the whole bubble thing, I actually believe LeBron was very relaxed throughout the whole playoffs. That's when you know his mind is locked in. I believe LeBron cares a great deal about what other thinks like a typical sociopath, hence the "I want my damn respect" burst of insecurity. I think not having a crowd is an advantage for everyone, LeBron included, though it's arguable role players see a bigger difference.

I'm with you 100% on wanting the Lakers to have won this chip now that it happened. There is now far less hunger in AD and LeBron. Bodes well for Warriors. As an aside, I saw some clowns on Reddit saying this Lakers team could beat the '18 Warriors in 6. People get delusional as fuck about the Lakers. (edit: oh man the first two minutes of this vid had me cackling like the wicked witch about the bottom feeders, friends of friends at the b day party lolololol)

I wish ESPN had the balls to speak truth to power instead of being a bunch of sad sack lickers but it’s no biggie. I’m excited for the draft drama and it’s on to next season. I hope Steph & Co come out hungry as hell. Wouldn’t it be something if they exceeded all expectations and won 79 regular season games and then went on to sweep the playoffs (I’m not saying that what’s going to happen, just that it would be hilarious to see the talking heads react to that shit). Miami are going to be scary af next year. I don’t know if the shitshow in Brooklyn will be able to handle it but we’ll be here with popcorn to watch it all go down

Alc thanks for the excellent bubble coverage, as always. I deleted my usual shit posting about LeBron. I'll keep it positive and say the bubble was great for blowing up some of our biggest adversaries. Rockets? Clippers? They got owned so badly it's just hard to conclude anything but done. So LeBron won with his usual calls to the league, but he also showed his mettle. We are also going to see a different league next year.

Alch, at first I grimaced while watching your "We Should Root For The Lakers" video weeks ago. And then I watched it again a couple of days later and thought it over and realized how right you were. Throughout the finals whenever I saw LeBron or the Lakers trending, I felt a calmness that I never felt before. Love the thumbnail too! Especially after Draymond's dumb "Why suspend someone and decide the season?" tweet the other day.
