Jokic exposing you on a daily basis alch 😂 you picked Utah and Clippers to win their games 7, the fact that you said they have no chance against the Lakers means they're finals bound 💪🏼

Watching pg lose games is becoming one of my favorite pastimes lmao

When I get bored of living in a certain spot, I start searching Airbnb & Facebook for a new one even if I just paid the month rental. Kawhi’s offseason data will be perpetually spent on scrolling on salaries of teams on HoopsHype looking for his 2022 ideal squad

PG has to be the biggest loser of the last 2 nba seasons lmao. I was starting to feel sorry for him until he mentioned being in the driver's seat. What a clown. I just want the Lakers to lose so damn badly. I just don't see how Nuggets can guard AD and LeBron which is why I was hoping the Clippers would win. I will just pray Green and KCP goes cold.

athleticalchemy

Right.. if he bolts again and tries another power play.. he is gonna start looking real crazy. All the “fun guy” stuff is out the window . Your “ dark horse” team! I know you was cheesing!

athleticalchemy

Bro said “ internally it was never ship or bust” when that’s what he said it was all year! It’s embarrassing!

What did patbev say? Next 5 years are ours? Lmao

Anonymous

He said this to Curry, to which he responded "Aren't you 31?" LMAO

Jokic's reads are just god like, he's playing chess while everyone is playing checkers. I read in the 1950s and 1960s, centers were considered the highest potential passers due to being able to read the defense easier with their height. Hence Wilt led the league in assist and came close several other seasons. Murray made the shots but Jokic to me had the most impact by far.

Sorry to say but I never thought Kawhi, as good as he has been for the past few years, was a natural scorer... Just a robot that mimicked what Kobe taught him... Also if you think about it, this was the first time he's had to be a leader cause every other team he was with was a well oiled machine with culture, identity and veteran leadership already established before he arrived... All he had to do was score and defend... And as far a PG13 he has be G rated for yrs smh a number 2 with number 1 skill but 3 option heart... Makes sense Kawhi called him 3rd after KD and Kyrie... And Pat Bev needs to just stop talking like he's some type of x-factor and just be glad he's still in the nba cause he gives me Dellavedova vibes...

The TV just penciling in LA to the finals. If their 3 point shooters go cold though, they gonna be in for dog fight I’m not sure they have the will for. It ain’t gonna be like that Houston series...And the young Nuggets got depth, with a single injury, can LA even afford missing a body and still take the series?

John Z

The arrogance of that team was just like Lob City. All bark. You called it Alch. Frivolous to the end.

I'd say Kawhi, KD and Harden have superstar level talent, but don't have the leadership and intangibles, or the all around game to be "the system". Only LeBron and Curry do.

Despite the outcome the nuggets had no business winning the series, clippers choked the series away, they already had it in 5. It's hard to imagine them putting up a fight against the Lakers.

Russ

Alch, I watched that 3 person gig you did. Don't stop telling it like it is when players aren't ballin. It's what sets u apart. Others act like if they get too real they won't get the interview and it all comes out low fat vanilla. Also Trash talk/Slander is where your humor shines. Be u Brother.

Idk how, but randomly Steph and Klay sitting out these playoffs made people finally realize how great of a duo these dudes are. People are finally admitting that the logo of Christian Mingle and the Star of Tropic Thunder being 2 of the most mentally tough players in the league. Gonna need Steph and Klay to get a chip in the next year or 2 to validate this flux of praise. That being said, glad to see Kawhi finally show multiple chinks in the armor. An efficient 3 level scorer who isn't a great playmaker/shot creator, we should have seen it sooner when Kawhi was struggling to shoot above 44% against Mckinnie.

LeBron and Nike already on the phone w Kiki complaining about Jokic fouling him

Very gratifying seeing them shit their pants . I lose my voice from my excitement last night

Everybody talks about “even keel” and how steady he is.. but the give with that is he can’t fire no one up!

They just assumed with kd leaving that the throne was theirs's for the taking.. you love to see it

Who on the Lakers is going to pull the Danuel House bc you know Dwight, Dion, and JR are dying to do something stupid

Anonymous

One thing I love about the Denver nuggets is they're removing the 16 warriors 3-1 finals stigma in a wierd way by putting that label on a lot of other teams in jazz and clips. Watch them go down 3-1 to the lakers and then get 3 straight Ws. This is what I'm rooting for as a warriors fan. Liked "3-1 gods" as a bball concept.

Denver vs. Miami ... perfectly suited for 2020 madness.

Remember you calling shamot a squire on an oldass pod 😂

Anonymous

Tbh alc, shamet always reminded me of that kid from hey arnold with the backwards hat lol. Was hoping clippers would win to beat the lakers. Hope these nuggets kids can pull it off, Jokic has won me over these playoffs

I think one thing not talked about was Kawhi's lack of footspeed and lift the entire series. Fatigue is a poor excuse for his load management but the tendinopathy seems to be getting worse. Even this season, he wasn't getting to rim as often as last season where he was driving at will. His defense suffered too, worse than Harden's

Anonymous

My favorite part of this result is that it is a statement on what it means to be a "winning team". The Clippers thought they could form a 2k blacktop team and talent would win out. But what this shows is that winning basketball is so much more than that. It is communication, trust, and instinctually knowing where someone else will be. These things have to be developed, they can't be mechanically produced. Loving the stuff alch!

"Opened up like a therapy session". Dude, you're killing me

Biggest winner of the night, Sam MothaFlipping Presti !!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel Fries

Doc's got to go. Did you catch the "wired" of him talking to the team as they were about to lose game 6? No encouragement or positivity. Just a disappointed sounding "you can do better than this." Losing culture starts at the top.

athleticalchemy

You got to try and coach these stars.. if they ain’t with it fuck m! Yeah you will be out but keep doing it until you find stars that are coach able.. that is.. if you can coach.

Hi Alchemy, I am not sold on Doncic yet but do you think Doncic is going to be better than Joker?

Anonymous

Lue looks happy at the end of the game... maybe he’s thinking he might be able to swoop Doc’s job this offseason lol

Andres Lozano

The only think limiting Doncic compared to Joker is that Joker is surprisingly durable compared to Luka who is alright but has had ankle problems. Also Luka can be a more constant offensive orchestrator compared to Joker thx to position.

AK

Clippers sagging on 3's as you pointed out.... has to be a coaching thing. Happened way too often for it not to have been changed as a strategy

Landry Shamet pulling through sword from the stone .. 🤣
