If the picks can't land us a win-now player. I can see them swapping picks with the Bulls. The Bulls get to draft one the big 3 players ahead of the Hornets. GSW drafts Toppin or Vassell with the 4th pick and GSW get their pick of Carter jr, White and Marrkanen, or a top 5 protected pick within the next few drafts.

Blessing us with another great vid Alc. I've been trying to sell the idea of getting Lonzo for awhile now but my brother has been calling me crazy. Honestly ever since he cut ties with his pops he's been pretty high on my list of attainable players. I like Bogdanovic, but it seems like the league values his skill set much more than Lonzo's. So I don't know if we would be able to afford Bog with our core 4 intact, Lonzo on the other hand seems like his stock and value in the league is constantly dropping and would be easier for us to quietly steal. Plus we're equipped with the best tools to fix one of his biggest weaknesses right now. If anyone can help fix his shooting woes, it should be the splash bros. Your take on both the sixers duo is pretty spot on. As talented as Embiid is, his work ethic is just too poor for my liking. I was extremely high on him early on since Hakeem is my favorite center all time, but Embiid's work ethic has soured all hopes I have of him ever sniffing a shot of being a Great Value Hakeem.

Hey alc, what do you think about getting D-Rose and the #7 pick for #2 pick, TPE and poole? We would be getting the backup for curry plus Vassel should still be on the board. And what about Looney? Like u said in an old video, his injury is chronic, what should we expect from him? I look at Noel from OKC and he can switch defensively and protect the rim, and he is bigger the looney. Maybe Noel could sign-and-trade with Looney.

Why put Poole in these packages over Paschall? Wouldn't Paschall be add more value to packages?

Anonymous

Like u said, Paschall has more value, there's no need to involve him in a trade like those, I think we would lose him if we were to get Giannis or Beal maybe

When you look at this from a business perspective there's no way the organization is trading the pick, all your star players are over the age of 30 and you have dominated the last 5 years, this seems like the perfect time to undergo a 1-2 year restructuring phase, the chase center will still sellout regardless. You also can't trade Wiggins without first seeing him with Steph, Klay and Drey in a playoff situation.

Anonymous

I almost had a stroke when I saw the Dlo-Wiggins trade news, but I gotta say after watching him play with us I'm sold, I think he'll be great and I want to keep him. I wouldn't be shocked if he was our 2nd best player next year

Anonymous

Have been thinking this exact same thing. If you don't love the top three, 12 or 13 is going to be junk. But Toppin or Halliburton could be real. With all of the scouting they've done, this is the easy trade. You actually get the better player and someone else. Markannen I would love to get. Also, I want to keep Wiggins. He scores 20 every night. Hes not a liability handle-wise, he's a giant defender, and can rebound. I want the Ws to unlock him in a way that a bad organization could not. I mean, Ben Simmons is that much better? For what? Oh. I think Joel sucks. Sorry. Watching him clank 3s repeatedly last year in the playoffs and make his team want to die made me think he's not smart. Also, I've liked the Lonzo idea but no. The guy didn't even show up for the NCAAs and now flakes in the NBA? And doesn't really score. Not worth the ball handling IMO

If we get another Under Armour guy we will get 0 respect from the Nike refs

True, but Poole is such a negative asset putting him in a package for one of the 76ers' Stars would probably be insulting. That's like putting Cameron Payne in a trade for a Star player a couple of years ago.

Anonymous

Poole looked real good after the all star break, even tho his shot wasn't falling yet

I think trading away the pick is the smart thing to do but Wiggins or draymond would have to go in most senarioz because of the cap. And both players I want to keep for at least 1 more year. I doubt the warriors could pay 20 mil more(with tax) and want to pay that much more by using the full trade exemption. I honestly think they can pick a wiseman in the draft and turn him into a beast. They have done it with less talented players for years. It also means the can lock him up for next three years or so for cheaper than a proven big while currys contract expires. Wiggins or draymonds contract will be a issue down the road but rn it’s ok. Also how will this seasons cap will be will play a huge role. I say they sign wiseman and get vet minimums off the bench and see how it is and then trade people at deadline if it doesn’t work out. Or Mabey they can make a package around Wiggins to get a couple good players or make a package of bench talent as well. They have young talent on the bench to develope so getting wiseman may be to much to develope but it’s worth the shot because of the ceiling. I also see them dropping in draft which would be very smart if they were planning a big trade down the line or if they want to save. They paid klay and dray what the deserve but the money is just gonna be too much between them and curry eventually. And now Wiggins who I do think is the perfect fit with the warriros but he is getting paired ten mil to much at least. They have around 6 solid bench guys already that I would like to see them move forward with rn. Ky lee Toscano pascall kevon chriss most of those guys need development. Also the have Poole and Allen that need the most work but again have potiental. Poole showed good stuff at the end and Allen I think will be a hidden gem. That’s a lot to develope right there and it will leave like two spots for vets on bench. I think they willl make a trade to give away those younger talented guys for a vet and Mabey picks or a swap who knows and it could help them developing wise having less players. I think they are in a amazing spot though and they will surprise us this year. Great vid man I love the content Bay Area strong. Have a good day and I’m freaking hyped for the upcoming warrios season. Adios

Surprised to not see any deals including Chicago and Charlotte. Seems like fo is high on Avdija and they want to draft. History shows teams don't move down or out so drastically without maybe compensation

Anonymous

At this point if I’m other teams ill take Eric Pascal over Andrew wiggins.

Anonymous

Embiid? Although he is a stylistic mismatch (because of pace) for the way the Warriors play he for sure would be a weapon, the Warriors could win with him, but he is not going to have a long career (injury prone). I judge Wigging based solely on his short tryout with the Warriors and I think he'll be even better than what we saw with Klay and Draymond on the floor. I would not be a fan of that trade.

Anonymous

I honestly think Wiggins would be a near perfect match for the trio if everybody is healthy, adding a n.2 pick talent to the bench or starting lineup is even better. I don't see the value in most of these trades tbh, eventhough some of them do help the warriors more now, the sacrafice is just too big giving up both wiggins and the pick.

Anonymous

I hope they keep the pick tbh, I think Wiseman could turn out a monster player, but with super long guys like him it’s a 50/50 gamble. I think Ball will be great too.

Wouldn't it be crazy if the dubs traded their top pick to get Lonzo in a draft headlined by his brother.

Anonymous

I watched to the end hoping for a possible trade for Bol Bol but no..... :(

athleticalchemy

It’s really based around them liking a guy outside of the general top 10. All I have heard is how every teams board is all over the place.

athleticalchemy

Salary is a huge part of getting deals to work. He makes relatively nothing, so it’s nice value for the DUBs but he doesn’t help match incoming salary from a deal.

athleticalchemy

I feel like with the uncertainty of this class it be hard to move back just a few spots. What else would you get? I guess it depends on how bad they want to move up...

athleticalchemy

Appreciate the take! I think you are more optimistic about our young bench than I. Wiggins I think will play well and his contract will be move able.

athleticalchemy

I really like him for us! I think the question is who is there at 13!? You can’t give up the #2 for just him obviously.

Unless our trade package is centered around Draymond, it makes more sense to wait till the trade deadline next year rather than moving Wiggins in the off season... Let me explain Warriors have an excess amount of coveted assets, yet, lack movable large contracts (that they are willing to part with) Pretty much it’s Wiggins or Dray But after this offseason The pick will not be a zero salary asset but 9 million, 5-6 million in the mid-level signing And a 14-17 million with the player acquired from the trade exception (If they used second rounders or future firsts to exchange with a sign and trade player as I have previously explained in detail) That creates an abundance of movable salaries, countless options Wiggins 29.5 Draymond 22.2 T.Except. 17 Wisemen. 9.5 MidLev. 6 Looney. 4.8 A desperate team punting on the season Those options + Minnesota pick That’s the play

athleticalchemy

Good point! But what’s the saying.. “timing is everything” it all depends what’s available when. I’m not big on trading the pick unless something falls in our lap too good to pass up. But it’s a hot topic so I thought I’d play in the trade machine

Any Knicks trade deal to explore around the pick?

athleticalchemy

I feel like if they want to give up Barrett... Robinson is a back up center, and Randle is a expensive black hole for TPE..

Embiid is injury-prone and I don't think the Warriors would sign him. Bob Myers has a keen eye for this type of thing. Ben Simmons is also injury-prone and, unfortunately, under the Kardashian curse. Lonzo Ball doesn't have the right mindset to be a Warrior. Coach Kerr would destroy him, and Bob Myers would eat his Dad for breakfast. I'm concerned about Michael Porter Jr's long-term health. Especially, regarding his back issues.
