I’m chilling on my expectations for the dubs. You help me with your recaps of the games, especially when I’m traveling without access to the games. I appreciate your 49er vids too!

Jansen E

We appreciate you Alch! Warriors season wouldnt be the same without you. I did the 7 day Disney+ trial. Couldnt bother paying for another as I already have netflix and amazon. But I watched the first two episodes of Mandalorian and it was great. I'll watch the rest of the show when its fully released in the first season!

Anonymous

We haven't jumped ship Alch. We're here with you to the end!!

Anonymous

Alc, I get as much out of your content as any of the stuff elsewhere (that we all pay for). Keep it up, brother. By the way, I found 36 to be the point where I clearly needed to switch to the court with the old fckrs w knee braces and head bands and sht. Get your hops in

Anonymous

Here with you always Alch 🤞🏻

“Young bucks who are 19 yrs old who think they have good perspective” damn dawg just @ me 😂😂 lmao nah but thats one reasons why ive been following you for sooo long because of your perspective, i watched the dubs every season since 15-16 szn but i really didnt understand the game that well thats why i was hella happy when i found you i thinkkk around the summer around tht season too. Grateful for you bro 🙏🏼🙏🏼

athleticalchemy

did I say that!? I meant to say who are just gaining prospective...your generations prospective is valuable as well. Got to learn form the youth, otherwise you become the ol fart! appreciate ya!

Ezra Abbey

Happy Birthday Alch! Loved the take on age perspectives in sports. I never got to see MJ live but I think that some of his allure is the fact that so many people grew up adoring him, he was a bigger than life. Not to take away from his greatness but it's just a thought. Thank you for your content man, we see you, keep it up!

athleticalchemy

Your takes are much appreciated.. we have been spoiled with being able to binge, that’s bout to come to an end. Which as a content creator I understand.

athleticalchemy

Thanks Jim! Yeah I still feel bouncy, but I’m playing more halfcourt. Definitely don’t challenge as many shots at the rim.

Happy bday in advance Alc... Question... Did you see that Nick Diaz interview and do you think he has what it takes to beat Masivdal??... And who ya got when Izzy and Costa fight??

athleticalchemy

Thanks! TBH Nick sounded washed.. Costa is a nightmare! If he comes back the same, I feel like he is just gonna keep coming forward until catches Izzy.

Anonymous

Yo Happy Birthday Alch! How did you feel with Draymond playing Point? Been here since you had 500 subs on youtube so congrats to see you grow!

Anonymous

Yes.. Disney+. I watched 25 episodes of that newer Ducktales in the last 3 or 4 days. ;) 36 wasn't so long ago for me and now I'm dealing with all sorts of health issues. But hey, we've all gotta push through this stuff and keep doing what we love doing and grow. Loving all your content and seeing you grow. Keep up the great work and I expect to see you achieve great things! :)

Anonymous

Happy Bday Alc. With you on the MJ situation. So many youngsters idolize Lebron. I'm mean of course you can't deny the God given attributes and talent but he's not the competitor that guys were in the 90s and early 2000s! He's always begging for help. Kobe was singularly great but he played in an extremely competitive era and didn't stand alone. Although I was a youngster back then, MJ in the 90s stood alone. No rivals, nobody was close.

Anonymous

I dont comment a lot, but i watch almost all og your content and Im happy to support your work. Happy birthday tomorrow and keep grinding 💯

Anonymous

As a relatively new basketball fan, it's been super enlightening following you and listening to your breakdowns in the past few years. Your analysis is definitely a highlight of my day when it drops so keep doing you.

Anonymous

Let's go Alc! Been rockin with you for about 3 years happy to see the content growing and improving. Always open to supporting the business with design too hmu!

Anonymous

You the real og and moms birthday was today so shoutout the scorpios. I was thinking a video on the Thybull kid would be interesting. You’ve talked before about defense is mostly athleticism and effort I’d be interested in seeing what he does differently compared to other good defenders

Anonymous

Being older than most of y'all here, honestly, I don't think the best players from different eras can be compared. Larry, Magic, MJ, Kobe, LeBron. How lucky are we, as fans, to have watched these legends? I feel blessed to have witnessed all of them live on TV. Clyde the Glide was one of my favorite players in the 90's, but watching MJ take his soul in the 1992 finals... that was something to behold. Jordan's mental game was unparalleled. -- I'm so happy to be able to support you doing what you love. All of us here get so much from you. It's a match made in heaven.

Anonymous

Happy Birthday, Alch! Keep it up. The best analysis and video work out there. Humor, insight, honesty...hoop food for my soul.

Anonymous

Happy Birthday Ahren! You the man, G. We got love for you in the Bay. /r/warriors got your back too!

Anonymous

Happy Birthday Alch!!! ! will definitely be one of those "now look" and "I was on him first" lmao. Always got my support! I'm gaining my perspective.

Anonymous

Hey Alch, old one, but it still bugs me when I think about Kaep: how did you feel back in 2012 about Kaepernick starting over Alex Smith in the Superbowl? Smith was limited but I always thought they should have gone with the experience over athleticism. 🤔

Anonymous

It's all of us that should be thanking you....we are not worthy....just lucky. I don't want to get mushy either but you are superb at what you do and for letting Warrior fans have their say, and listening to us in a non-judgmental way. You are the anti-sports talk radio which is always in a format always based on I'm right, your wrong....I hate that but I love the way you do it. You are my outlet! Happy B'day.

Anonymous

I don't think that players from different eras can be judged against each other in a who's better frame, so many reasons why, but I'll let that be. I do however think that comparing today's player to someone who played in a different era is interesting....like, Alec Burks, he's the modern day (former warriors player) Terry Teagle, scorer off the bench, inside/outside, aggressive, unafraid, hot/cold streaky, same long weird looking body, unorthodox. Pat Beverly he's like 76Dr's/Bucks player Walli Jones. My 2 cents.....

Major Powers

First off, kunta kinte is a fictional character, so... would you have been mad if he wore an Elsa from Frozen shirt? But second, there's no context that Americans shouldn't be reminded of the great national shame. Whitey made a stain on the carpet and still needs their noses rubbed in it (*edit: especially in the NFL which is straight up on some white nationalist shit among ownership and elsewhere). You know our government hasn't even officially apologized for slavery? Fuck that. Everyone who can't handle it is a conservative snowflake.

Major Powers

Just listened to the rest. You're wrong about Kaep. My wife ran in the same circles with him when he was radicalizing. He didn't have an identity crisis, he had the opposite, It's us with the identity crisis. He just started reading more about history and talking with revolutionaries and philosophers. Kaep's got it 100% right.

athleticalchemy

I disagree.. rubbing anything in anyone’s face is not how you progress. It just help keeps the problem alive. I always respect your takes, but if you ran with him. You can’t have an objective view on this.

Major Powers

Respect you too Alc. 1) Name one bit of social progress that's been gained in human history by being polite and ignoring the problem. 2) The problem is being kept alive by the people who want the U.S. to be a white ethnostate, and a lot of those people are police and in the military. Kaep isn't keeping it alive. It's alive and fucking well all around us!

athleticalchemy

No.. I agree with that! I think generally speaking the smarter route is to use smarts and finesse. Let’s be real Kaeps way hasn’t worked either! And I think that’s the problem a lot of black folk are having with it. He is soaking in the glory of being righteous. But ultimately not really helping the cause.

athleticalchemy

You have to stand up for what you believe in. But have to be willing to take some Ls for the big picture.

Major Powers

I would think black people wouldn't like it because he's pissing off all the redneck honky NFL fans and then they are gonna wanna go do some shit. I don't think there's any 'glory' Kaep is getting. What's Kaep's glory? That Steph Curry tweeted about him? That neoliberal media said he's cool? I bet he'd rather be making millions playing football.

Major Powers

I mean WTF bro, can't you see how fundamentally broken it is that you get kicked out of the league for kneeling during the anthem? This isn't about Kaep being righteous, you're looking at it backwards, this is about how FUCKING LITERALLY INSANE it is that he got kicked out for such an insignificant gesture.

Major Powers

He SHOULD have been trying to get all the players to boycott the game itself and just stand on the sidelines doing black power fist. Just him kneeling is super insignificant. And you're telling him to get in line for a t shirt? Come on dude!

athleticalchemy

Nah that’s where your wrong. He has a way higher status with in the culture than he ever would have had playing football. I got finish this breakdown tho! https://youtu.be/I68HQOI6Yaw this the best main stream talk I’ve heard on it

athleticalchemy

And FYI I spoke about him having an identity crisis long before this. I’m not formulating my option from this... I just agree with it.

Major Powers

I'll check it out! It's probably wrong, but I'll give it a listen. :)

Major Powers

I'll still watch it, but you just legit sent me a link to a show owned by Fox Sports and you think they are gonna have a pro-Kaep slant to anything? Hating on Kaep is the company line!

athleticalchemy

I remember it totally opening up the offense. I think it was the right choice. It was the next season when the league figured out Kaep could only throw rolling out right when it started to sour.

athleticalchemy

envoy another OG! ... I remember very little suspense with that bulls team... I know they were pushed several times. But it just always felt like inevitably they were going to win. But again, that was thru the lender of a kid.

athleticalchemy

Much love! Thank you for reminding me.. I will definitely have some projects that will need some dope art work for YouTube.

athleticalchemy

I hear you.. there are counters to all of those arguments tho. For instance, Go take a look at the guards playing in the league with Mike...

athleticalchemy

Ducktales! That’s brings me back or how bout Talespin! I’m trying to stay proactive and healthy even tho I haven’t had insurance or a normal check up since I was 17. I have had good success with fasting, exercise and avoiding sugar. But most of staying positive. Thank you for all the support Tony, I wish you much health in the future.

athleticalchemy

Thanks! That’s og status right there when it comes to the channel! I think it definitely gives the young bigs more opportunity. Styles make fights so I have to see it against some different teams.

Anonymous

I appreciate you man. When I get that raise, Ima increase my contribution here. Keep grinding man, that's to all of us here.

Thomas Ogas

Quality of your work and analysis just keeps improving over the years. Very grateful to have found you years ago and support your early efforts. You're the very first guy I "patronized" through this website. Just keep doing what you do. All of us are much more informed (and entertained) because of it.
