It's really amazing how many injuries the Warriors are having this year. I know we like to break all sorts of records, but could we please not also go for the most-injuries-to-an-active-roster achievement to go with our worst-record-after-nbafinals-run title? With the roster now, it's feeling like we barely have 3 people to switch out of the rotation with. With so little rest time for some of them, wouldn't the injuries be more likely to happen to those who remain? Still, I loved the fight from this game. The spirit and energy is there, and it was definitely an entertaining one to watch. I count myself very lucky to have been there for that win vs Portland since it still remains the only game they've won at home thus far lol!

Wait 20 games or not, the result will be the same, eyes say it, the stats say it, if we are not short handed giving Steve the excuse to play JP 22 minutes....we win this game. It's not the first game that JP's minutes being played by someone else would have gotten us another win and it won't be the last. Look, JP is not progressing, KY has, Spellman has, Chriss the same, even WCS. To the positive the defense finally played better.

No doubt he is really struggling. But you seem to be taking a hard line that he is a bust. Just keep the same energy when he figures it out.

Poole needs to go to the G league. He clearly isn’t ready. I say this every single game. Any other player can get those minutes and our over all points would go up 15 per game.

Quite sad watching Poole out there. Maybe him going down to the G-league would be a better option right now. Makes me even more mad about watching Kendrick Nunn still ball. I think we should have kept Tuscano Anderson. Games like these are torture. BecauseI go into them expecting and accepting a loss already. Then they come out like they did in the first quarter and you think Damn! They could win! Then they go totally cold from 3, the other team sets on fire from 3, and Im actually baffled how low scoring this game was considering it felt like we committed 50 turnovers. I ALMOST prefer blowouts. Games like these hurt to lose when theyre so winnable. The DLo injury probably cost us offense, but actually sorted out some shitty TOs. The team looks all out of sorts and I dont blame them.

you have watched enough NBA tho...You knew the Boston run was coming. Much rather have games like this than blowouts...Now Ky can get a fair look before his 2way days are up, it hard for a pg to just play in emergency.

bro you should make a video talking about what you would do differently if you controlled the warriors or Knicks who would you trade would you go back to Oracle things like that like the my league in nba2k20 it's really fun. just food for thought

Warriors have had a lot of good fortune in the last 5 years especially with new role players just falling into their laps each year, players like Looney suddenly developing into a player so now maybe they are getting some accuulated bad luck.

DAWG, If I'm Joey Lightyear I'm taking the training staff round back and putting them down like Old Yeller...This shit is absolutely unacceptable for MFers collecting six figure checks.

Hey that's not what I think, that JP is a bust, I've never said that. Hard line, yes, the coaching is doing JP a tremendous disservice by playing him when he is not ready, minutes he did not earn....that's a mistake for everyone, JP, teammates and fans. Because I am harping on it I'm pretty sure others hear are tired of reading what I write about JP. I'm sorry for that, it's a drag.

athleticalchemy

no no your all good! I think you were so quick to point it out everyone was like lets give it a few games...and a few ... and now a few more have gone by lol. I didn't mean to put words in your mouth. What I have taken away form your takes on him is you see a lot of red flags that suggest he is going to be a bust.

Since he's on a one year deal, is Burks projected to be traded before the deadline? Maybe to Portaland after the Melo experiment goes south

they said sprained thumb he's gotta be out at least 14 days

He looks awful at the moment And I think you're right that he would really benefit from a few weeks down by the cool waters of Santa Cruz Just smashing on fools dropping 30 in 30 minutes. Get the shot back, cuz right now he's missing wide left and wide right. If something doesn't happen soon he's gonna become a head-case, and I don't know if you all saw the interview with him and Pascall, but JP thinks way too high of himself already and if you asked him straight up, he thinks he gonna be an allstar 2021-22 season. He has the potential to be a good 6 man bucket getter as soon as next year but if this continues the way it is, he could psychologically transform himself into a bust.

These close games against good teams while we still pick up the L is pretty much the best case scenario (obviously minus the ridiculous injury rate). And I think Draymond has had talks with the front office and he now knows that being competitive for 4 quarters where games are entertaining to watch, but still being a below 500 team is the ultimate goal this year.

Poole is trash. they reached on him fr fr. nice thought but ummm dude ain't ready. needs to go back to school.

I think it depends on if he continues this productivity up through December. Be interesting to see how soon Philadelphia starts to panic if they continue struggling through 4th quarters.

How do I make through this season? Your great work, Alchemy. Much appreciated.

Thank you for sticking with me 🙏🏽... this all may line up perfectly for another extended run.

Seeing all the haters this year coming out of their little hiding hole is funny to me. On the bright side, our young guys are getting play and getting better with every game they play. Next year should be great!

It's Draymond's point made about Chriss earlier in the year that sometimes it's a team's handling of a young player that makes them a "bust". However my original carping about Poole was not really this. From the first summer league games (of which he Poole only had 1 good game where he shot well), into the preseason games where again he shot poorly and played inconsistently.....all of which I see thanks to ALCHEMY!!! thanks Alchemy, it was clear he was not ready (trying to play too fast in my opinion) and the initial role given to Poole by the team should have been way more modest and realistic. But, and I stress this to be clear, AS AN EX-PLAYER AND HIGH SCHOOL COACH, I just very, very strongly believe that players need to earn their playing time with performance in both practice and games. Of course there are exceptions for generational talents who always perform (Steph, Lebron) and in some cases as a coach you play players outside the earn of playing time in "next man up" situations but that's not what has happened to Poole and it really bothers me that Steve has put Poole in this situation by what I feel is poor judgement. I say that all while knowing that Steve is a cheerleader type coach that motivates by expressing confidence in his players and never throwing them under the bus, but life is not about using 1 tool, 1 style to address all issues. Ranting again, I realize.....apologies.

was it this game, or maybe it was the LAL game where mark jackson was talking mad shit about GSW games not being fun to watch. the other commentator (forgot his name) paired with jackson was saying that theyre fun because theyre the underdog and they appear to have some fight and pride for such a young and depleted squad. mark couldnt believe what he was saying haha

It’s all hate! But Rockets games are by far the most boring games to watch in the NBA, I think.
