I think Lebron and other athletes were standing with Kaepernick because it is a domestic issue and police brutality against black Americans is something that they or someone they know may have been affected with directly. In my opinion, Kerr and Curry had the best answers in saying that they didn't know the full issue and wanted more information before commenting. Either way, thanks to you and James for speaking about it.

lol nah I remember everybody in middle school thinking they were cool because they could recite the Big Mac song. Now that James brings it up I have had some cold whoopers..I feel like the condiments and fixing are too cold maybe and that aint helping. I was always a Jack n the Crack type a kid..two tacos for .99 and a spicy crispy chicken sandwich!

Good point..the context and situation is much different. But the principle is the same. Like what if Nike didn't stand with kaep. Would LeBron still have been out spoken? Everyone has a price whether we admit or not.

Joe Harris has said some stuff, a few other players but not many. It's pretty obvious that money is more important to these guys than some shit in Hong Kong and I truly understand them. If I was in their position I would want to secure the bag for my family, why would I care about some Chinese politics? I don't understand why people are so outraged by this, if anything you should be looking for your politicians and PRESIDENT's (looks at trump) to say something and act, not your favorite athletes...

First off I want you to tell James that we appreciate him, Alch. Dude's a legend and his takes and insight into psychology and other things are a breath of fresh air and he always has interesting and thought provoking takes. Secondly I gotta go with G here, your takes are usually on point. When I saw Carson Edwards go off I immediately remembered you wanting him real bad in the draft, you got a good eye for this shit. Keep the pods up, probably my favorite part of your content.

Sorry for your lost Alch! Losing someone close always puts things into perspective. Always enjoy the Podcast! I remember your take on Edwards, dude has all the sauce and I really like hero in Miami. F china tho but business is business at the end of the day sadly. Saints are doing well just need brees to come back healthy and we good to go!

to be fair. They both suck. Cook just had some extra juice in himself last night cuz he wanted to stick it to his old team. Fuck Quinn Cook. Where was that energy in the Finals? Or the Playoffs? or just in general! Thats literally the most efficient/smooth scoring Ive ever seen from him. Granted....the Warriors defense last night was literally nonexistent so theres that. But I cant wait for the Lakers to crash and burn in the playoffs. Patrick McCaw didnt deserve a ring with the Raptors. I'll be damned in Cook gets one with the Lakers. Neither Cook or McKinney can play defense. Both are unreliable scorers. Both are undersized for their position. And both add nothing to the roster that isnt found somewhere else. If we had kept Cook and let McKinney go, I'd be just as upset. We needed to have dropped BOTH of them.
