apologies I wanted to include the long Oracle intro but obviously the NBA aint having it. Breakdown kinda turned into a low-key scouting report on this possible match up.

I am PRAYING for a first round clippers matchup. We haven’t seen the clippers in the playoffs this entire run of greatness, and the last time we did, we lost in a grueling 7 games. I want the warriors to use these uniforms more often. I want to dominate the clippers in the playoffs. They’ll be a great first round series to watch and get through nicely. Satisfying too.

I wouldn't be mad at it! My only concern is Beverley and Montrez and what type of juice they might sap out of Steph and Draymond.

Clippers would be a nice first round for us. Ready get everyone engaged and in a good rhythm going forward. I'm extremely happy with the bench effort and play. I think their just feeding off the energy from the starters playoff mode. Great video Alch super excited for the playoffs !

Cook has been shooting something like 60% from 3 and overall FG% the last few games, which is definitely impressive for a bench player. Still find Livingston's offense and defense troubling every game I see him play. Bogut's screens are still solid - albeit often illegal - and I would like to see that more from Boogie. I still don't understand why Kerr doesn't test more PnR in the last few games before the post season...

Won't OKC be last seed? They have a game against Houston, and then against the Bucks.. I can't see how they will come out on top of any of those 2.

yo its probably too late, but if you did a analysis of the national championship tn I would love to have your take on some college ball

athleticalchemy

My problem with college hoops is, just like that first attempt at posting this video. They yank it off Youtube with a quickness! I will definitely cover the draft and all the prospects. But as far as game breakdowns it have to be on a pod format.

Honestly just give us OKC so we can dispatch them to the graveyard early. Clippers are scrappy and might give us an injury(god forbid). Besides, really would like to see Steph expose Russ and his stat padding.

HOU vs OKC will be a huge game and if OKC beats them, it may just push HOU down to the 4th seed. For that to happen, it assumes POR wins out and DEN at least wins 1 of their last 2 games. POR has tie breaker over HOU if they end up tied on Wednesday. I fully expect MIL to rest their stars on Wednesday, but you never know with OKC man, which version you’ll see.

Anonymous

I think most likely scenario is Houston ends up being 3rd seed after beating OKC

We've already seen Steph expose Russ multiple seasons now lol. I remember back in 2017 he annihilated the top 3 mvp candidates when Durant was out.

There's a conspiracy theory that Denver threw last night's game against Portland to try to push them towards the 3 seed and Houston to the 4th seed. Denver rested three starters last night and took out their most productive players when they were up with 4 minutes to go. This risk depends on OKC beating Houston of course and Portland winning all their remaining games. It's weird that a team owns another so much they drastically tank game(s) for the POSSIBILITY of avoiding them. For the Warriors case, there's literally like 15 different scenarios that could play out these last two days that could result in their matchup being OKC, LA, or SA. Also, could possibly see HOU in the second round if Denver's plan falls through. Should be interesting to say the least!

Is there still a possibility for an OKC first round matchup?

Chris Styner

I really like the effort level we are getting from the more peripheral players as well, which is a good sign. Lee looks like he is giving a lot of effort on the defensive end. And he came out and gave us 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 7 points. He may be a little better then thought, little being the key word. Still wondering about Jones, there where whispers about seeing him in the playoffs, but I have not heard any noise about him. Looking forward to playoffs its been kinda sleepwalky through the regular season.

Im fully aware of Steph exposing russ but I want to see it again so the Russ fans start rethinking the whole "the triple double is everything" concept.

I think Bogut killed any possibility of DJ's return this season. I agree Lee plays hard, he needs to drop about 15lb imo. It would make him a lot more athletic.

Anonymous

Yes. If OKC loses next two games and Spurs and Clippers win out then OKC will be in sole possession of 8th place.

Anonymous

Denver wants to avoid Houston apparently because Houston has won 10 of the last 11 games against them. And, the one Denver win this season was with Capella out.

Anonymous

You may be delighted in knowing that among the 48 players voting for most overrated NBA player poll, Westbrook was at the top.

Anonymous

Kerr says it is very unlikely DJ comes back, and that's being conservative lol

Anonymous

once again, I was aware of this. I am indeed delighted by this. Its something he deserves, because thats what you get for stat padding. This is one of the reasons he'll never lead a team to a championship. Only way he wins one is if hes riding the bench when hes in his late thirties(if he lasts that long)

Anonymous

Rockets are still playing for the 2nd seed, which is critical when that's Denver.

Anonymous

...and in the process of this they might lose home court to Houston? That seems very unlikely.

Anonymous

It would take an injury or something to see DJ, because the 13 actives are already spoken for, and DJ and the rook are the ones who missed the boat. Same as last year when they finally got healthy against Cleveland and DJ and Cook were deactivated. So Jones is done, healthy or not, unless another center gets hurt.

Bogut....very exciting

Breaking news: Magic steps down as Lakers president of basketball operations. Surprising but yet not so much, he was taking a lot of heat from his season 1 frankenstein team.

Anonymous

In a players' poll yesterday, Draymond was tied in votes with Westbrook as the most overrated player in the NBA. As if the all star snub wasn't motivation enough, the entire league is about to witness Draymond dominate an entire postseason.

Anonymous

It's surprising he chose to step down now. He was a big reason LeBron even came, because Magic ensured he could get additional stars to join. I wouldn't be surprised if zero stars joined LeBron in the off season and LeBron doesn't make the playoffs next season either. It'll be one hilarious timeline.

Anonymous

It had nothing to do with Magic. Lebron was coming to the LA even if they had Scooby Doo running the show. More to do with his post playing career and his son's career.

Anonymous

Homecourt wouldn't matter tbh lol Denver would get smacked by Houston whether they have it or not

Have we just accepted that Harden still travels 50% of the time? That shuffling crap is traveling.
