Warriors not losing anymore game... 🤣

Cousins is looking better than most of thought. One tweet said he'd come back at the end of the season and too big to heal. Do we have an idea what his ceiling is now? Also chances that Bell is traded? I don't see him getting much play w our forwards being 3 or 4 deep.

Anonymous

Love when you zoomed in on Otto Porter and analyzed his form, would love to see more of that. Great stuff Alch!

I love the dynamic growing between KD and Boogie, the only thing that worries me is KD's handle which isn't always tight.. he has a lot of turnovers to guards because he lets that ball up too high. Can't blame him with his height but I hope he can stay in the system and get assisted buckets rather than trying to do too much.

I think what you see is what you get defensively, he may even get worse as he gets more comfortable. Offensively I think we will see him get more and more dominant in the post.

just a headsup alc, DEFCON 5 is the state of least alarm. so you could say gsw was at DEFCON 6 until thomas bryant went ham

Anonymous

Defcon 0 is a state of maximum readiness, a state where human extinction is imminent...I.E. its Defcon 0 for the rest of the league when a healthy focused Dubs squat enters the playoffs...lol

I like the new bench unit with Klay and Boogie but I dont like Shaun making the pass to boogie. His guy just backs up and denies the easy pass to Boogie. Klay or Iggy should make that pass.

Steve Kerr, "Wake me up when it's over" !!

any chance you could do a cut up video of Headknock? I feel like most people don't know about it. or maybe that's best kept a secret? haha

Anonymous

Once boogie gets more accustomed and gets his wind up im sure he will start letting it fly because at times teams are leaving him WIDE open. Chef showing he can do it all.

yo Alchemy, the Warriors are in rhythm and so are you. Nice video.

good call its got to be a spacer. Especially If they are going to bring the Baseline help anyway

I once heard a boxing coach/trainer say when he comes across a boxer who has a few great punches in his bag, he shows him how to make his good punches perfect. As opposed to teaching him how to throw new punches, as there comes a time when a fighter has to have a clearly defined identity to elevate to the next level. Let him tell it, he'll pick a defensive boxer who can land a straight left and a right jab at will, over a boxer who has everything in his bag with nothing perfected. Based on that logic, he'd take HOU over this new post Boggie GSW. Dubs have the 3 ball, mid-range, off ball movement/cuts for bunnies, off ball screens for open looks. Our identity was the Hampton 5/Death line up. Now we have a new "punch" in "Boggie in the low post". The Challenge for Boggie and the dubs is to elevate their identity resulting in a net positive that’s better than their already great team. From what I seen so far, I believe they can and will do it, no doubt. You can tell the team is intrigued by the challenge resulting in added interest through the grind of the regular season. Glad we got a solid opp in Boston coming up as we want to be pushed as we approach the playoffs as we don't want to be taken out by a perfect puncher (I.E. Harden ISO combined with his manipulation of the refs) who is an inferior fighter (Hou is inferior at basketball compared to GSW, period). It's gonna be fun watching us get better and I'm confident we'll elevate and see ourselves with that 3peat when it's all said and done.

I love fighting analogies. But the Warriors are such an outlier of a team. In the playoffs I think of it like this. Boogie isn't a new punch he is more like a headbutt in the clinch. A speed and fitness fighter just learned how to get out of the clinch if a bigger fighter tries to big boy him. Point is you want to play small and run him off the floor, fine that's our style anyway! You want to go big! ok!

Like what's McKinnie's doing. Looks like every game he's got an offensive rebound. Dude's got great timing!

Looking forward to your live show!

Warriors feel to me like they were supposed to at this point of the season : Demarcus Cousins 17 points, Klay can have a no show night (9 points), KD can have a barely showed up night (21) points, the Chef was cookin with 38 points, and there were some awesome dunks on the night....it was fun for the guys, nobody working too hard, everybody eats and winning is fun.

I had a shit two days, but I feel better having watched this. Thanks, Alch.

Who should GSW target for that last roster spot? Now it's looking like we shouldn't be going after a center. I think we should focus on a wing. What do you think about a guy like Rodney Hood? I've heard he's gonna be moved.

Anonymous

Klay is now the best guard this year at finishing % close to the rim, with something like 70% from the restricted area. This may be on some minimum number of shots, of course, but...wow. He's not super high on the list overall, but still--Klay! "Klayup" used to mean clanking an easy one! Amazing. Huge jump since last since, and since coming to the league? Like night and day.

I know Livingston had 7 pts but his offense and defense are just incompatible with the Warriors right now. When he was in with Boogie, Wizards built a huge lead because teams just put a zone around the paint and you only have 1-2 shooters to worry about. Boogie's defense looked way more lazy this game, but that could just be stamina and unfamiliarity issues. It's been a while since we've seen Steph show off this much ball handling and finishing + midrange skills. Wizards found out the hard way that the man can do it all. I think beginning of the season he made it a bit too predictable he really wanted the 3 despite his ridiculous efficiency at the time, and I wanted to see more varied shots.

Anonymous

Tbh he gets a ton of open dunks so it's not a stat I take that seriously. Just happy his 3s are more consistent now and he is deferring his shots more.

Anyone see the McCaw foul on Harden? https://streamable.com/vh1v1 Imagine if Steph got those type of calls.

Anonymous

Yo Alch did you check out this video of Luka and Steph working out during summer last year?? It really highlights Steph being at a completely different level, especially with the tennis ball drill lmao. Why havent we seen clips from these two ballers joining up before? https://streamable.com/zro3y

I am kinda glad in one way he doesn't. Harden gets them because he's cheap and a flop artiste--he's great at it, but that's like being great at lying. Useful, maybe, but still wrong. Plus, it's slow, ugly-ass basketball. OTOH, he *should* get them; it would save wear and tear on his body, and it would be nice if we had someone besides Durant who could buy a foul in crunch-time. It's pretty criminal that the only guy giving Harden a run for his money in terms of offensive production (Harden does way more on waaaaay more efficiency; Steph's offensive production when it's just him as the sole offensive threat is remarkably similar (lower) to Harden's in terms of total points, but achieved with slightly lower usage and slightly more efficiency.

Anonymous

Steph does some of the hardest hand eye coordination training ever. It's just unreal.

great vid alch. iggy is really impressing me this season with his play above rim
