Pretty confident in nick young defensively (in this series) so I think they can play Livingston with the starters and have cook and young on the floor at the same time

Amen on what you said about Nick, he's stepping up his game like the dude who's noticing his date is gonna be opening up for a night of heavy sex. Curry, this was the game we needed for him to feel confident from this point on. Timing could not have been more ideal. Your video sharing about the Warriors' struggle is going to make any chance of winning the championship all the more sweeter. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Still 6 more wins left to go. Stay healthy, Dubs!

AA this was well worth the wait. Thanks! This was a feel good game. I'm hoping for more of the same Tuesday night. It's go, go Dubs.

Thanks for the breakdown al! Loving it! Make sure you point ppl to your patreon account in your public vids. Those vids have like 50,000 views, and I’m sure there are some who wouldn’t mind paying $2 to get the extended clip. Loving your work, and Dat NBA life is so good!

Gotta start looney if Iggy dont go right? Not a fan of pogo starting.. either I just dont recognize it or simply my hate for Shaun blinds me but I think hes a terrible screener so I dont like the idea of pogo nick steph and/or klay on the court at the same time..

athleticalchemy

Thanks! Probably do need to get more aggressive letting people know about it. Definitely working on my “strategic marketing “ this summer.

Have you always hated Shaun? I think Kerr might start Nick and give his bench minutes to Cook.

Why did Dray get a tech when ariza pushed him. Dray wasn't even looking at him? This team will get chippy because they're just such poor sports. Didn't watch the game live, that's why I'm asking bout Dray, but podcast stated that Chris Paul once again was being dirty and pushed Bell while he was in the air. Was it that bad and noticeable. Even if it wasn't I wish someone would just stick him right in the dome for all the cheap shot he does. And I'm not sure Steph's jumper is back. A couple of those weren't on the money shots, they were off to the right or left a little, just not enough to not fall. But when Steph is on,it's usually right online. I'm just hoping seeing some go in will give him the confidence that when he shoots it will go in whichever help his aim. It's a shame he's shot so poorly too and you know it's in his head cuz I've seen practice videos of him making like 93%. Any team that can switch without making mistakes is gonna take Klay out of the game unless Klay is just in killah mode knocking shots down with people all over Him. He can cause some mistakes cuz he so good as a cutter, but he's gonna have a hard time getting 20+ if they're good at switching. Once every team gets good at switching you're going to see bball go back to big men in the post as the counter punch to make them pay for switching guards onto bigs. Defense is always 3-5 years behind offensive developments. Then defense catches up and offense had to come up with something else. Just like d'antoni is the reason big men can't play anymore, the warriors will be the reason bigs learn how to score in the post in about 5-10 years.

This is the reason I love your analysis videos. I learned so damn much!

Was very irritated during the making of this video ... glad it didn’t effect my work.

Looney is gonna be my next jersey. He has been huge these playoffs, switching and bringing the intensity. He might be our best rim protector, and will probably start with no Ig. As for Steph, I think his knee was totally fine in games one and two because he was getting to the rim. I think the shots were not dropping and he was out of rhythm. The one thing I did not like was how he committed and switched back, but he fixed that early. It was good to see some shots go down for him even though I expected it.

I think we can get some minutes out of McGee, And Cook needs to get in early, feel that green light in meaningful minutes

Thought the defense was great and I don't know where we'd be without Looney. He is truly an elite defender. The combination of his size, wingspan, quickness, footwork, strength, grit, and IQ makes him special. He is too good for us to take him off the court. The more I watch the Rockets, it's pretty clear what they want to do on every play. They want to drive and kick for those corner 3's and if that's not there, drive and lob to Capela. We're doing a great job of taking those away, taking away the 3pt line, and forcing them to drive and make tough shots at the basket. I like how Curry is attacking the basket and taking what the defense gives him. That lets you know his knee is not an issue. Those layups and free throws will eventually get a shooter like Curry going. Kerr also ran high PnR 13 times for Curry in G3, compared to only 11 times total in G1 and G2 combined. I think this helped unlock Curry as well. I think Curry will have a stronger gravity in G4 and hopefully this will get Klay going. He's had 2 subpar games in a row and may be due for a big game.

I trust your numbers, but it didnt feel like there were that many high PnR..to me thats above the breaks, but maybe they just count distance from the rim. Im guessing you would start Looney? It will say a lot about how they feel, whether IG plays or not. Sounds like he could if they felt the needed him.
