With the Rockets always wanting to attack Curry in iso, Nick Young was able to hide defensively since other players on the Rockets never moved throughout the possession. Allowing him to contribute in meaningful minutes.

Bro I was freaking out on reddit after that Klay 3, that was ruled a 2, then ruled a 3 but the score keeper waited like 6 whole minutes to give GS that extra point

Very entertaining game bro and similar to you, I admired Steph’s commitment on the defensive end, especially every time he got switched on Harden, he took the challenge. However I’m curious to see your thoughts on if Steph was a little ‘too’ aggressive at times, specifically in the 4th quarter when he got 2 b2b holding calls. And I mean he literally grabbed and hugged Ariza on both screens and Curry was holding him like a Koala on a tree trunk!! If I was the Rockets, I would exploit his over aggressiveness and Curry may be in foul trouble early in Gm 2. The dude had 5 fouls but the game was decided. I mean truly it’s a wrap if Klay has this killer mindset.

The Warriors are 21-4 since 2014-15 with Iguodala scoring 10+ pts in a Playoff game.

i hope you're covering that screen dramond set in the extended vid, was funny af :D

looney was not bad with harden--but please send him the link to your harden rules video. for the most part, the other warriors seemed to be forcing harden right, instead of left. appreciated curry for doing everything to the best of his abilities while he returns to top chef form, whether penetrating, passing, making steals. this time i liked how kerr was encouraging him on the mic'd up--stay the course. did you see joe lakob (during harden's injury on the floor) ask the guy next to him "what happened?" (he wasn't going to ask his date)

What stood out to me was that our points were coming with relative ease. Meanwhile, Houston had to work very hard to get good shots. Harden scored an efficient 41 pts and they still lost. Our offense can play a lot better. And you know our defense can play better as well, bc we have very smart defenders who will learn and adjust to HOU's offense. You know Curry is gonna bust out sooner or later. I'm trying to think of what adjustments HOU can make. They are who they are, they've been doing the same thing all year. I can see them maybe going to even more isos on Curry. But what else? When GSW is locked in, this is a beast of a team.

My thoughts as well, they may use Curry’s over aggressiveness on defense and get him in foul trouble early. I’d also expect more touches from Capela. Other than that, the only changes we can expect to see is the “others” like Gordon, A bute, Tucker to hit their 3 balls. They were terrible and Gordon is just surprisingly underwhelming this postseason.

Nene has seen his day, but let's not forget, Mike D Antonni career playoff coaching record is 40-41 that's includes 2 teams with the best regular season record and 1 team with the second best regular season record, he's not much of an adjustment coach. Starting the 4th quarter they interviewed D Antonni and he said I like where we are, we're right there, we could win....un huh sure Mike....you know there's a big hole in the side of ur boat right?

KD has a "blend in" game and often during the season he was content to play on that setting. Last night KD's game was on his dominate setting (like when your blender is turned all the way up for your smoothie and your a little afraid the top might blow off) and when that happens it effects Steph the most and frankly it requires Steph to put his ego aside a bit and that was what was so great about Steve telling Steph "I like what you're doing", advising him to continue be patient, and protect the ball and possessions.....that's great coaching

Looney didn't play James exactly right but he gapped him perfectly, absolutely refused to reach or even come out of stance and lean forward, which is what James wants, and the clock went tick...tick...tick...while James burnt energy with his dribbling show and then James relented and burnt more energy trying to drive past Looney. The smarter play for James would be to accept that he has to shoot more step back 3's QUICKLY when he gets that big man switch and once he has them concerned with that shot and jumping out at him, mix in some pump fakes to draw contact and get to the line.....he'd use way less energy for the same result and his teammates wouldn't be standing dead still while the clock ticks.

Hey Alchemy. I’m not gonna lie, coming in to this game I was concerned how The Warriors would play. Happily I saw a level of focus and concentration I remember seeing from last years finals against Cleveland. The Warriors really wanted to win this game and the effort showed. No careless passes or anything like that.

Dray gave the refs a few opportunities to eject him, but they didn't bite. I was pleasantly surprised at the reffing of this game. They missed some on both ends, but I think we got a fair shake. And with KD in literal God Mode, the Rockets just had no chance.

for me, it did seem like the refs were making up quite a bit of fouls on both teams (not even counting the backcourt violation). there was one slo-mo replay where draymond was the last person to touch it before going out--and we got the ball. but at least the refs did keep the game in control, didn't seem to favor either team, and stayed calm themselves. maybe it's just a reality that this many calls is actually pretty good compared to other NBA games lately.

He is a Mark Jackson type..gives you the green light and ultimate confidence...but does't really "coach" anything.

That push on harden was smart and calculated. Harden likes to purposefully walk right in the way of inbounder and get in the way of him walking. He's been doing it for years and just another cheap annoying tactic he uses. Dray let him know right from the jump he ain't fucking having it, and on top of it set the tone. Capella talking about "we're definitely the better team" and all their guys talking shit, they the ones who woke up the monster and Dray let him know alright, you wanted us, well you got me. I'ma be in your face for 2 weeks. It was smart and planned. That was his Mulligan, early in the game. And unless he hit someone, they aren't gonna give him a second and toss him in the playoffs, early in the game. I loved it. He's been so much smarter about what he says and his actions this playoffs and I'd rather him walk right in the line then try to avoid it all together. I'm more pissed that dirty ass Crissy Paul don't ever get called for the shit he does and noone mentions it. Although Hollins (who played with him) on Jalen and jacobey brought it up and straight called him dirty, but noone else in the prominent media will recognize it. Crissy Paul is with that bitch type shit and always has been

FUUUUUCK CP3! Elbowing KD in the nuts/hammy was such a bitch move. If Day-Day is gonna get ejected for anything, I hope it's to wipe C.Paul's shit-eating-State-Farm-grin off his face. He better hope that smile is insured. In fact I would've loved it if C.Paul was the one floored on Draymond's savagely legit screen. Then we would've gotten more "Draymond's the dirtiest player" bullshit which would hopefully prompt some great comparison videos between the two.
