Pat was moving his legs after hitting the floor, obviously a good sign. Last winter I fell backwards while walking on ice and landed on my tailbone. It still hurts today. I'm thinking and hoping he re-injured the tailbone, or broke it. Praying he didn't fracture any vertebrae or do any spinal damage.

CT scan and Chest X-Ray came back clear...now we are just waiting on an MRI. The clear CT scan is a good sign.

I just read a tweet where the MRI reported everything to be structurally sound. Looks like our boy is gonna be alright. Thankfully nothing too scary came from this. Read this from Shams Charania.

Seeing both teams come together in prayer for Patrick was the most bittersweet moment of live television I can recall seeing. Respect for all the players and Godspeed to McCaw! Glad to wake up today and see some of the comments here saying he'll be okay.

Great news, prayers answered, no fractures no paralysis no structural damage, maybe the intense pain was indeed from the sore tailbone! Hope he can come back soon and overcome fears.
