A defense of S-Dot - the play you ripped him on had him on the the line in a situation where you're expecting him to do something he just doesn't do, take a shot outside his range or perhaps try to create something on the dribble with the defense set inside and not enough clock to then have a pass option expectation - every other Warrior is is just standing on the perimeter, no one is moving. In general it looks to me by the numbers that he was doing what he will be expected to do in the playoffs once Steph is back, off the bench in less than 20 minutes on the floor. With the three wise men I don't think Kerr is getting them out of their roles just because guys are hurt. I do agree on Shawn not developing a three ball though, I don't understand why he hasn't been able to do that, although I suppose that's more than just taking it when it's there and the best option, it is something of a change in the way a guy plays. On Cook, and I know I get into your feelings when i talk about him, he is at a point where teams do have a scouting report on him, especially in his Steph-replacement role, and they aren't going to apply Steph-like gravity to him once KD and Klay are back, but they will play him differently than they did when they didn't know who he was or even care. Now he has to be an NBA player who has known tendencies and weaknesses and teams have a gameplan for playing him, on both ends of the court, and that will ratchet way up once they get to the playoffs, of course. We'll see over the last 8 games if he gets exposed.
