This season has been full of injury for many teams. We have been lucky these last few years but this year might not be our year. They have been taking it easy all season and still plagued with injuries, idk man. If we get it done this year it would be amazing if not we will come back stronger next year.

I'm gonna be optimistic, I think this injury was less severe than what happened to KD and also less severe than Curry's MCL sprain in Houston. You're right, Curry was able to de-weight and the impact did not seem as "jolting" as the hit KD took from Zaza. ESPN is reporting Curry was in good spirits after the game as well. If it's grade 1, he should be back for round 1. But this is why we got KD. To take the pressure off of Curry so that all our chances aren't dependent on Curry being 100%. I'm just pissed that for the 2nd year in a row, the biggest threat to us winning the title is our 2 centers - Zaza and Javale - who play so recklessly and throw their bodies all over the floor with no spatial awareness every single game. Was there any doubt that sooner or later they were gonna injure one of our stars again? smh

Prayers for Steph🌿

Idk man. I just wouldn’t blame JaVale straight up, it’s basketball and everyone is in danger of injury when you’re at the wrong place at the wrong time and that’s Steph being in the paint with towering centers/bigs. Now we are all speculating how “severe” his MCL sprain is so tomorrow afternoon can’t come any sooner but let’s just hope, best case scenario a Grade I which it’s hopeful he’d be back by Round 1. Worst case scenario it’s Grade II which is 6-8 weeks and possibly a mid Round 2 return. Very irritating situation but it is what it is.

This is why we should start Jordan Bell for the playoffs... prayers to Steph.

I have no problem with Steve treating Livingston, Iguodala, West, Young like a bars of soap that's getting kind of small and ur afraid it might slip down the drain but Looney, Cook those guys are full bars what are you saving them for man? let those guys play the longer minutes!

The Knee and random thoughts: It didn't look that bad to me, and Curry's reaction could easily have been total frustration, with the two injuries right on top of each other after his other injuries this year. So until I see otherwise I'm assuming 2-3 weeks. On Javale, I think this is a symptom of the game today, guys are going down on the floor much more than they used to, and probably due to the prohibition on contact - more defensive flopping, less concern about getting injured jumping, and players who simply aren't as strong as you used to have to be. I was telling people a year or two ago that the Warriors should consider trading Curry while he was at the peak of his value, because I questioned his ability to stay healthy into his 30s, he just isn't the kind of athlete that used to populate the league under the old rules. And do you really save him for the future and not risk that by playing him for this title? Remember the future is promised to no one, you have to get them while you can. But if this is more than 2-3 weeks and maybe in any case this does increase the likelihood that they'll hang onto Cook, which I say still only makes sense if Curry is definitely down, he's not quite a good insurance policy. I didn't see the game, but I was also pleasantly surprised that he had the assist and rebound numbers he had, which hadn't been the case previously. I also thought it was interesting that he was out there with Curry, at least when Steph got hurt, although this was just a garbage time game against Atlanta - it can't imagine that's something we'd actually ever see in a playoff game if Cook is retained, but Kerr was doing it. Finally, if Cook's stock just shot up, then it'll be interesting to see what Casspi does the rest of the way, and what the Warriors do - if he's all but out the door how much do they play him and when do they cut him? What happens if Durant is next up on the injury parade? This is all a function of the Ws centers-by-committee situation and having six guys under contract to play one position that has been going extinct anyway...

I think the knee will be grade 2. Now is too soon, but I have thought along the same lines. 32 - 33 may be time to move on from him if they have the guts. KD and Klay can play like this well into their 30's and Draymond will most likely will himself into a respectable shooter as he ages. The Cook questions is all but over, you are spot on about the center by committee problem.

I swear to you moments before it happened Im telling my daughter Javale is going to doing something wild. He came in just extra overactive! it was noticeable... Sometimes when he hasn't got much run early on in a game he does this.....like a puppy you leave in the house all day.
