Ahhhhh I aint putting this one on the refs... Its Kerr and the "others".

Clippers!? How embarrassing...

Chris Harris

Warriors need to trade for another scorer. The Nick Young experiment is failing

Nathan Glanzer

No they just need another point guard. Their issue this game was more about stopping the opposing guards than not scoring. Without Blake we should have kept them under 100. Guy had a career year against us though, trap game, no biggie. We'll be nice and rested for the upcoming b2b.

The "others" made me turn off the game early...

True Kerr rotation was ass but let’s be real none of the bench was giving him anything. We have no bench scorers that can give us 15 consistently right now I want back Barnes and clarke

I’m really disappointed in Nick, not so much in Omri because he does some good stuff when everyone’s healthy. But Omri doesn’t space the floor with his 3 game like we hoped he would do and Young is basically our JR Smith who is inconsistent and sometimes useless. Very one dimensional with his 3. Though he surprises me with his occasional step back mid range shots. Now idk what happened with Ian Clark over there at NOP if he is even breaking their rotation but he gave us more in terms of cutting to the basket, wing floaters and timely 3’s. Bottom line, our “off-season” acquisitions are not helping when we need them to. We are 6 games above HOU for 1st seed and this next 3 games will be crucial whether maintain that lead because HOU has an extremely easy upcoming games before we face them next Saturday. 1st seed WILL matter.

My thoughts during this game: Lou Williams is what we envisioned when we took Nick young, so far, he has been a bit disappointing. I thought the same about Caspi too. He's a good player, cuts a lot, but we need him to do more on the offensive side. His defense have also been bugging me. Yes, he jumps the passing lanes a lot, and he gets rewarded for it. But, he commits too many unnecessary fouls. I like Livingston, but he is honestly too inconsistent on offense, and he has been poor in defense. He gets blown by too often that now it feels like the norm.

I think Casspi can adjust..if they sit him down and tell him we need you to shoot more 3s he will. The others there is more to it.

Anonymous

I been looking through Casspi's stats over his career and some years it alarming how many attempts he takes from 3. I understand minutes should be factored into it, but from when I first heard of him I was told he was a shooter. I haven't seen that side of him hardly at all this season.

athleticalchemy

have you ever had a bad hammy pull? Its like someone shot you in the back of the leg. But it also lingers and bites you for at least 6 months. Point is I wont be surprised if this slows Harden down the rest of the season. That and Dantoni running them into the ground, I think we are safe barring an injury to the big 4.

athleticalchemy

Like I said in the video he seems like he doesnt read scouting reports. he will jump at none shooters and go under screens on shooters..now everybody has mental lapses but for his little time on the floor he should be able to dial in. Maybe Dray and others need to dawg Nick, seriously like give him tough love. Because everything is a funny to this dude.

McCaw=fail.

Wish Ian Clark was a Warrior.

When was the last time Warriors played without Steph AND Klay?

Anonymous

Kerr with his smug ass "I told you so" smile

Major Powers

I don't think McCaw is a fail, he's just got the yips with his 3. He's still an active on ball defender, taking ninja swipes at the ball constantly, and is getting more and more aggressive at the rim. I do think Yan would be a better fit with our offense this year over Swag, tho. I'd love to still have Clark.

Anonymous

We need not only a shooter but also another person who can handle the ball. It's just hilarious watching the Warriors without Steph and to a lesser extent, Durant.

athleticalchemy

Dinwiddie would be amazing, but it cost Bell and probably a pick...

athleticalchemy

Good take Major...he's not useless, at this point i like him better than IG as a perimeter defender. But I think he is a guy (like myself) i need to handle the ball to find my rhythm.

I think when the trade time comes, I think the Warriors need to get rid of Nick Young and get someone who can actually produce points off the bench not named David West. We cant rely on 12 pts from West to win us games like these. I'd want them to keep Casspi because he's an okay defender but hes a smart vet that can do the little things. He definitely has to shoot the three more though, but his release takes so damn long Im pretty sure he'd be blocked more often than score. McCaw needs to hit damn weight room. Bell needs to get more confidence in his short range game. I dont see Young improving or getting more productive as the playoffs approach. Idk who out there could be the production guy off the bench, as I dont know whos on the trade market. But right now, they are in dire need of someone who can produce when Klay, Steph, KD cant do it all themselves. Too bad the Rockets get gerald green. He wouldve been a decent 3nD player. Although right now, we couldve really used a LouWill player.

athleticalchemy

I don't think Nick has any value...Looney, Damian Joned, and of course Bell are the only chips we got. Are draft picks are basically a second round pick. Best chance is a buyout.

Quin Cook gonna get some pt play time on this road trip?

Anonymous

Would you do that trade? So would he back up Steph and push back Livingstons minutes? I'm actually worried about the statements Iggy made the other day. "Get a couple more rings and call it a career" We signed the dude for 3 more years and seems like his body is going against him, imagine the next 3 seasons....

Anonymous

Are you wishing we got Gerald Green? Still can't believe the Rockets got him and to see him knocking down 3's so flawlessly. Damn....

Anonymous

I always find it funny how people are quick to call for a trade but when a Nick Young get's hot, let's say in a Western Conference Finals Game 6, when we really need it he's a hero again...

Anonymous

Well we can't assume he'll "save" us because he hasn't shown any consistency since his first debut when he had like 25 points and like 5 3's or something. It's the mid way point and Nick had many opportunities to make his mark but just can't really give us much in that second unit. Don't get me wrong he made some timely 3's in several games this season so far but that is it and it's just inconsistent.

Anonymous

Surprisingly disappointing seasons from both Young and Mccaw. I don't think anyone saw this coming. Everyone thought at least one of them would be really good off the bench this year. Simply put, Young is just out of shape. Unprofessional for a vet like him to be be so out of shape. Reflects a lack of commitment to the game and his craft. His mind is clearly on things outside of bball. With the extra minutes he got in this game, you could tell his fat ass was completely gassed by the 3Q lol. Dude was barely running and was sweating profusely and breathing like he was in labor lol. Big mistake not bringing back Yan on the vet min. Solid dependable player and teammate. And with Mccaw, you can tell it's getting to him mentally at this point. In the summer, he was hearing all the talk about all the money he was gonna get after this year as a FA. And now he's losing millions with how he's played so far. His shot is broken. With every jumper he bricks, in his mind he's seeing money go down the drain. No team is gonna pay a dude if he can't make an open 3 to save his mama's life. His form and technique on his shot are terrible to being with. It's an ugly shot. Now he has 0 confidence in it so he's hesitant to shoot it at all. I guarantee you that Myers is gonna try to get another scorer to come off that bench.

athleticalchemy

Marry Ann your right fans have a "what have you done for me lately" attitude, so does the media. But Nick has been disappointing by anyones standards. The fact he is carrying an extra 15lbs halfway through the season let's you know he is not doing all he can to be ready and be swaggy. He's not going anywhere, so let's hope he plays hero at dome point.

Yo Alchemy, small heads up, the title of this video in YouTube says: "GS vs LAL gm42", shouldn't it say LAC? Cheers

Anonymous

Yeah, that's a good point and I agree with you 100% I'm mostly fed up with fans thinking they would be a better coach or GM :D
