I disagree with Steph not forcing a single shot. I can say he forced 1 or 2 shots at the final minutes of the 3rd quarter. You could literally hear the guys saying “Give the ball to Steph” as he had 45 points seeing if he can get 50 before he sits the whole 4th quarter. 2 deep 3 misses and he went to the bench after JaVale foul thinking “45 points it is then”

I think Curry's injury had a big effect on him, mentally and perspective-wise. It's been a while since he's missed an extended period like that. I think KD went thru something similar too, not just last year but when he had his major foot injury in OKC. Curry and KD are both introspective guys. When something you love is taken away from you, you don't take it for granted anymore. And it wakes you up bc you suddenly realize your ability and time to be able to compete like this are limited. "You have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light".

Well said Rich...I think the actual physical rest did wonders as well. Strength training is hard on the nervous system. Like I had mentioned, I think he has layed off that aspect of his training.
