Hey alch, you've mentioned several times that one of your rules is that you should never "pass in a straight line". Could you elaborate on what you mean by that? I started playing some pick up ball at work about a year ago so I'm trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can!

So meaning if you are in direct line with your teammate 1. It is going to make it easier to defend and will most likely be broken up. 2. Try to make a pass on a exact straight line It going to veer 1 way or the other and be inaccurate. This is why players run the floor in lanes. No one should be in the same lane unless you are a late trailer who would be in the middle lane. If you are in the same lane but want to make the pass, either swing it a lane over for the better angle. Or dribble over lanes to get that angle.
