It's not much of a choice. 3 of the 4 are bad and you've seen the good versions of them already. So it has to be 12 Monkeys. Also, Al Brown (Major Valchek) is in it. RIP Mr. Brown, recently gone. The Greek is also in it. In a few weeks you'll know who that is.

Gotta be 12 Monkeys. I love Colin Ferrell but that was one of the worst remakes. So was the Robocop remake. They really be doing Paul Verhoeven wrong!

Thing Prequel and Kong 76' I feel have bum raps. Thing Prequel actually had some creative/witty story elements and actually did have more practical effects than one might think despite the CGI done over it. And Kong 76', while, while its no 1933 classic, still had a great cast of characters and Kong was portrayed effective enough. That's just my take though.

I really enjoyed The Thing 2011. And maybe I missed something, but it did not come off as a remake to me. Just a prequal. I would recommend it. The only reason I think it gets the bad rap is due to the heavy use of CGI. But I thought it was pretty good. Not as good as the 1982 one with Kirt Russell but enjoyed it, Kong 76, I don't remember all that well. It's been too long. I know I've seen it, but I don't remember it well. I've seen all the Kong movies, and I know I might get some gruff over this but Peter Jackson's is my favorite thus far. But I had to vote 12 Monkeys, cause it's Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt. And it's just an awesome movie!

What you should watch is the 12 Monkeys tv series. It's one of the best sci-fi shows ever made. Criminally underrated, is a blast to watch, and has a perfect ending.

12 Monkeys is honestly one of my all time favorite Sci Fi movies, and I had absolutely no idea until now that it was a remake. I just really like Terry Gilliam's style: Time Bandits, Brazil, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, love them all, then again I may still have some hallucinogenic traces in my spine, so they say, so, just saying taste is subjective...

12 Monkeys is one my favorite sci-fi films and one of Bruce Willis's and Brad Pitt's best performances. Madeleine Stowe is also very good in it.
