If you ever have the time, you might take a look at the video game 'TCoR: Assault on Dark Athena' It's actually the second game in a series and has better mechanics and general implementation of the first ('TCor : Escape from Butcher Bay'). They are set before 'Pitch Black', but both games have good story. A remastered version of the first game comes with Dark Athena and you can play if you like, but many don't like the simplicity of the gameplay mechanics and recommend just starting with the second one. Edit : I sure hope the Patreon devs hurry up and fix the issue with showing metacodes for some charaters, like quote (") and ampersand (&)...

I liked this movie, but I would agree, Pitch Black was better. This one was a bit too different from the first one. The way they expanded on the lore of this universe was a bit much all at once I think. I feel like this was a story that might have done better as two movies rather than one. Or maybe even three. But that's just me. I think you will like the 3rd one better than this one. It is a bit slower in the beginning, but it is really good. I also think you'll like the casting for it. I recommend the unrated version.
