Dee's death really hurt. Especially when you remember it was her that convinced Adama to reunite the fleet in season 2.

Dee's death was a gut punch for me when this originally aired. To me, she was the emotional center of the Galactica crew. It brings Adama's quote from early in the series full circle. "Because it's not enough to just live. You have to have something to live for."

This is when the series really went into overdrive, and also the best sequence of episodes, IMO, though pretty chaotic and insane. The crescendo to the end. Trivia: a throw back, the cylons that they found buried in the ground are what the cylons from the original series looked like. Also the father of Cali's kid is played by Bodie Olmos, Jame's Edward Olmos' son. (sorry about the reposts, I forget that the "enter" button on the keyboard makes my comments post.)
