I liked the Predator and the Indian aspect of this but hated the girl's story and the fact that SHE killed the Predator, and that they changed the lore behind the gun from Predator 2. The Predator is a 7-and-a-half-foot tall beast that can kill a grizzly bear and yet this teenage 5'4 girl kills him in hand-to-hand combat. Mrs. Movie made a great point right after the cougar scene when the girl says "I can hunt." She said "Yeah but you can't really, we haven't seen you hunt ANYTHING yet" let alone the Predator. It's also shitty that the Predator DIES in every movie even though this species is the "Greatest hunter"

She doesn't beat him in hand to hand combat. She used a series of traps and tricks we (and she) learned throughout the course of the movie. Do you feel the same way about Macaulay Culkin's character in Home Alone?

Real reason it was called Prey was the fact The Predator movie was so poorly received and so they changed it up. Plus it fits in what the movie is.
