2023-04-22 19:28:38 I just subbed to this channel for the Sopranos reviews. Can’t wait for you guys to experience season 6/7. I know all the episodes are technically called “Season 6” but that’s not how they aired. Originally season 6 was going to be 10 episodes, then it was upped to 12. Finally David Chase, the showrunner, realized he had a lot more story to tell so the final season was split into what’s called season 6A and season 6B, but Chase & the writers consider them separate seasons. Season 6 technically ends on episode 12. The reason they had to do it that way was due to the actors contracts, if they had called it season 7 it would mean the actors could renegotiate their salary and they’d have a lot of leverage since it’s the final season. Anyways, love the videos. I wish you’d release these a bit quicker mind you but it’s always cool seeing someone react to this show for the first time.
