The Stand is great. I read the unabridged version one summer over the course of a few days. It's absolutely worth your time. Glenn's dialogue is great and you get much more of it in the book. You also get more of the Judge, who also has some memorable stories and bits of dialogue. I'd avoid the 2020 version, it gets more wrong than it gets right and in the end its just a poor adaptation.
