Full-Length Commentary for REC (2007)

Grazie EDIT: Whoops, spoke too soon. The same sync issue as the Dune (2021) Full-Length Commentary has reared its ugly head again. :/ I tried to troubleshoot it for over an hour to no avail. I’d like to think I know what I’m doing on these machines…so this bizarre syncing issue has me more than a little frazzled. To any other Patrons with similar frustrations regarding the *very infrequent issue* of certain Full-Length Commentaries [only for the films Dune (2021) & REC (2007)], I will keep trying to figure out why this has been bothering me and every single device, computer, smart TV, smart phone as well as dozens of different apps/software. If I find a solution, I’ll edit this comment with any/all potentially helpful information. (As far as Operating Systems go, I only run Unix and Unix based Operating Systems, but even if I didn’t, the issue wouldn’t magically disappear – that’s not how computers work haha.) Apologies to Mr. & Mrs. Movies for being a bummer in this video’s comment section – I know it’s not your fault. Y’all are the best. My only aim is to resolve this issue, (which I assume is not exclusive to myself…?) How embarrassing would that be O.o Anyway, I’m happy to share what I’ve tried, what I know, etc. via direct messaging, (since I feel like a weirdo spamming the comment section like this…) I’ll check back when I can, probably soon, and hopefully with good news. Cheers folks. P.S. ‘[REC]’ IS SUCH AN AMAZING MOVIE, AND THE PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR SELECTING IT FOR Y’ALL TO WATCH HAS GREAT TASTE IN MOVIES! Horror is the only genre that matters. Everyone needs a little more [fictive] Horror in their media diet. While [American] studios & filmmakers leave much to be desired when it comes to Horror, foreign/international films have proven time and again that the genre can – and should – be taken deadly serious, (as opposed to mined for franchise value, jump scares, uninspired remakes etc…And I’m ranting about Horror now. Yikes. I’ll, uh, show myself out…) Cheers.

Sick Mario shirt, ever given any thought to doing video game playthroughs?

Sorry you spent so much work on this, but the issue is just the normal sync issues that happen when you have PAL vs NTSC sources. Their viewing of "[REC]" is a 25FPS version, so if you want to stay in sync, that is what you need, too. Either they sourced it using a PAL (european, etc) DVD or from, shall we say, a more dubious source that shall not be discussed specifically. You were probably watching an NTSC (North American) format version (23.976 FPS). Same with their reaction to "Dune" (2021). One of the earliest quality releases of the movie in those... dubious.. sources was a PAL format (25 FPS) version which a lot of people grabbed and I think that is what they showed, because my equally dubious NTSC format copy didn't sync, so I found a 25FPS version and it sync'd perfectly.
