Fun fact: I met this one girl from Guatemala, her English was pretty good, the only way I could tell if she wasn't American was the way she sometimes structured her sentences, I asked her about it one day and she said the reason foreigners have problems with English in America is because, when they take classes they are taught "British English" and not "American English" so when they say certain words we look at them with confusion, for example "where is the Lou?" they are asking about the bathroom.
