"A Survivor Is Born" Release (Patreon)

Hey all :)

So here's the render I mentioned I was working on in the previous post (June 2023 watermark-free render archive). I've been wanting to do a Jill Valentine desktop wallpaper for awhile, and this was the result. I hope you like it!

If you have a sharp eye, you may notice this is a cropped landscape camera angle from a previous render I did in portrait style, The Lionheart. However, in light of the tweaks I made to the scene, I decided to give this render its own separate title instead of classifying it as a variant release. If you're curious what all is different, in no particular order, I made some tweaks to the lighting, adjusted Jill's grip on her handgun (and sculpted her fingers), added some subtle volumetrics, added sweat & grime to Jill's skin, and added a backdrop. I also rendered out a version without the sweat & grime if you're not a fan of those :)

In addition to the embedded images here, you'll also find "sharper" variants in the MEGA archive that do not include the subtle lens filters I used on these versions in post-processing. So, whether you prefer dirty or clean, minimal post-processing or a slightly stylized look, there should be a variant that's right for you!
