Hey all!

Let me start off by apologizing for the radio silence and lack of content so far this month. I decided to take some time at the start of this year to deal with various personal obligations that had been piling up. In recent months, I've been focusing all of my spare time on Blender, and, as a result, my "to do" list of things that needed taken care was starting to get far too long. My life was reaching a tipping point where the weight of all the obligations I needed to take care of (outside of Blender) was constantly bearing down on me, and my mental health was starting to suffer. And, in turn, my physical health as well.

I feel terrible about taking time off from Blender so soon after November and December were fairly dry months as well, due to taking time to reorganize and update my entire Blender library. But, the good news is that things in my life are starting to stabilize a bit. And so I'm diving back into Blender to start getting content rolling for you all again!

Speaking of content, I return to you today with some WIPs in hand :)

For my next render, I want to do another automotive/car pinup. If you've been following me on Twitter for a bit, you may recall the cyberpunk Claire pinup with the Mustang Boss. This time around, I want to use an even higher-quality car asset set in a 3D environment — the Claire pinup was actually just an HDRI background.

The materials on the Bugatti Chiron Sport pictured here are still WIP, but I think they look pretty decent atm. I want to spend a bit more time polishing the materials, then add in a model and settle on a pose and camera angle (or maybe angles?)

As for who the model will be, I'll keep that a mystery for now. However, the way I'm currently envisioning the final render, the setup would allow for fairly easy model swaps, if the demand was there :)

Anyway, in closing, I want to thank you all for your support. I appreciate your continued patience while I'm getting things sorted in my life <3
