Hey Everyone! We've got something a bit different this time. So, lately I've been enjoying coming up with a few critters to surprise my players at the table, you know, hit them with something they are not expecting. Recently they've been on a multi-day travel through the oceans, they got a bit too relaxed, sometimes not even keeping watch at night so it occurred to me that it was the perfect chance to hit them with some sneaky goblins (they're still low level), but I needed it to make sense that there would be goblins in the middle of the ocean, so I made these guys. Could have I chosen something from the probably hundreds of CR appropriate monsters that already exist out there that could have silently boarded a ship at night to kill everyone on board? Probably, but I wanted shark-goblins, and I wanted them to look like this.

Suggested Stats

You will find attached at the end of this post a PDF I put together with the stats I used for these little guys in the encounter I set up for my players, they are not dependent of any patreon support tier so anyone can grab them for free. Are they perfectly balanced? Probably not, I'm sure I must have made some mistake, but I can assure you it was a fun encounter and my players enjoyed it quite a bit, so hopefully your group can too. Feel free to change the stats or make your own if you want, I'll be happy if you all just have fun with these little paper dudes.

Having said that, if you do have some comments about them, have any suggestions, or if you run them and just want to share how it went, I would absolutely love to hear that, so please leave a comment here or feel free to hit me up on Discord. My players are now on a sort of deserted island and I'm cooking something up that I can use to terrorize them there, so I'll be sharing some stuff on Discord soon and would also love to get some feedback on that as well.
