Here we go! v0.10 has just been wrapped up today, and is beginning it's testing phase. First thing's first, for all Backstage Patreons ($10+) there will be a post along side this with Yu's art package. Check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/59145522 

Now lets get into the new things that have been added over this week, then I will recap on everything coming in v0.10!

As mentioned before, Fufu can strip down like some of the other characters, but if you look closely you can see her sprite will reflect the articles of clothing she is actually wearing. This is also now the case with Boba

And Yu

They will reflect fully stripped as well, this is just to display the articles of clothing are separated.

Next:

As Endurance rounds progress characters will have heavier breath and sweat forming.

Sandbox mode has also seen some upgrades during this process:

All stages of "endurance" can now be seen through sandbox mode, and can be reverted via the "Clean" option. You may have also noticed above the face expressions, there is now an "Eye Direction" that can be toggled on or off, and adjusted.

Additionally the first "SS" item has been added

It's not much but it will slightly increase your movement speed and help you get around the festival a little faster. The current cost is 3 SS coins.

Finally, I have put in the 2nd modifier:

Nitros (2* Silver) - This modifier will move your "Note Attacker" higher on the screen with each stack. This can require better reaction time, and often a greater reliance on playing from audio.

Nitros may see changes in the future, but for now I think it can make for some interesting variations in modifier builds.

MAJOR:

  • New Character: Fufu
  • New Modifiers: (1-star) Yin and Yang, (2-star) Nitros
  • New Item: Lucky Charm. (Can start songs with a white modifier)

Minor:

  • Characters with no Endurance are marked as such.
  • You can now hide textboxes
  • New option to hide UI in Sandbox scenes.
  • Sandbox can now display all stages of endurance.
  • Characters now show sweat/breath as endurance modes go on.
  • You can now adjust Eye Direction in sandbox scenes.
  • Boba, Yu, and Fufu sprites now reflect their clothing state.

It's a fairly small changelog due to spending a little extra time on Fufu's animation. There are still quite a few more extra features I want to get in, and next month will be very busy with the extra Hscene, but I'm going to do my best to get them in next month still.

One last thing before this month closes out: This month has been the biggest increase of new people since launch. It's been absolutely amazing. I can't believe how many people are coming in!
