Should have done this post yesterday, actually. I will start with the unfortunate news.

Some of you may have heard, but Wishful Simping (our current composer) has come down with a nasty case of covid. He was hospitalized and is under recovery at the moment. To give him time to recover, I will be doing the music again until he feels comfortable enough to return.

On a lighter note, lets talk about what's been going on with v0.7. There's some new interesting stuff. For the first time in this game, the clothes are rigged separately to the character in the conversation piece. This basically let's me do anything with their clothes in the animations itself... here's a little example of what I mean.

There's going to be some fun play with Boba. I am experimenting with a "quest line" of sorts where the player helps Boba realize her affinity for forms of "exhibitionism". It's not set in stone yet, but it's something I think would be really fun to play around with. I would likely use this as an opportunity to have more interaction between various characters(as they are rather isolated at the moment). My thoughts right now are to have Boba/Toto conversation, Boba/Samga conversation, and Boba/Ruth conversation. In these instances Boba will likely be hiding something perverted. The player will also likely be able to influence these conversations in certain ways.

I won't go into too much detail, as things are still quite experimental at the moment. (The idea might even not get used if I find that it doesn't work as well as I had hoped.)


Things likely to come in v0.7 that are not Boba related:

  • The menu in the campsite is reworked a bit. There is now an "options" menu to house the settings.
  • New setting to darken the background/hscene. (For those who find it distracting while trying to play). You can technically even completely blackout the Hscene if you want.
  • Some proper clarity on Glass' state during gameplay. (Some visual display on it's state)
  • Perfect Combo Counter.
  • Pica Endurance mode and sidequest.
  • Potential timing lines/outlines on notes to give visual spacing clarity.

These are some goals for this build. I may not get them all in, but I will be sure to get as much in as I can.

The modifiers coming are still under consideration, but I will update you guys on that when I get to that point.

I guess considering there wasn't a whole lot to show aside from the tit flash. Here's an early look at her little in-game sprite.
