Evening all, it's mid-month update time! This update continues the Harian plotline, with two different answers to the question of 'how do we get our hands on a large sum of GPU-approved currency?' Spoilers: neither answer involves getting a well-paying job or playing the Union Lotto. Following the conclusion of this particular subplot, you'll now have the option of doing some limited shopping on Victorious - while resource gathering, balancing and using still requires some more parts to be implemented, these sorts of shops will be something that will get expanded on as time goes on. But remember: no (full value) refunds!

This is the first time I've gone back to the combat encounters since setting up the introduction ones, which was some time ago, and a few things needed polishing up. In particular, I had to account for the possibility that someone might try to go into combat with no one running the bridge or on the away team other than themselves. Further spoilers: this would be a very bad idea. I've also done some other polishing, like adding in some more scene imagery and adding in some codex entries - while some of them may read quite familiar to those who played Carnal Coup, there's also been a bit more added in to describe events since the first game. I have no concrete plans currently to add any Celopi, Lencists or Vessians to CV, but future cameos like Octo's are always a possibility. In fact, I may just do a poll on that.

As for the rest of the month, I haven't forgotten my promise to try and get some more 'action' into the game this month. In particular, there haven't been any opportunities yet to get re-acquainted with your XO beyond the procedural scenes, and that's something that certainly needs fixing. Beyond that I'll be looking to get in as much more Harian content as I can, though as I noted before my plan is to switch over and get started on the Seeders in the New Year. You can certainly expect a bigger 'state of the game' post to go up when that comes around, so something to look forward to.   • Fixed issue preventing the Save and Load screens from appearing during combat encounters.
  • Fixed potential issue that could allow a player to get the 'successful' scene branch despite losing in a ground combat or group seduction encounter.
  • Fixed issue preventing body details (like Harian fur markings) from properly displaying in the main portrait.
