Evening all, it's time for our second release of the month! Not a particularly spooky one, I'm afraid, but if it helps, just imagine that there's a jump scare waiting behind every button click.

I didn't get as far as I was hoping with Director scene updates this cycle, but the good news is that's partially because we did get in the final set of mission background assets, and I spent some time getting those in the game instead. This is, in fact, the final bit of background art for the game - we'll still be working on CGs and such, but the task of 'keep the player from walking through the void of space' is now 100% checked off. We also have a new Specialist CG in, with Hummer's special film debut scene, leaving just one item left on my 'have at least one CG for every Specialist' task.

The next free release and State of the Game post are currently planned for Monday night, so I'll talk more about November plans in a few days, but I can say that I expect the midgame development phase to be completed next month, and it's just a question of whether it will all be wrapped up by the mid-month release or not. Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed issue that could prevent some Wildlands-based background details from appearing correctly.​

Known Issues:

  • TTS dialogue cannot be interrupted once begun. May have issues if triggered on multiple screens at once. TTS support is 64-bit Windows only.
  • WebGL Issues: Be warned that save game data in WebGL mode is less permanent than PC standalone. May also be more prone to memory and other issues.
