Evening friends, it's time for our first update of the month! This release was focused on finishing the mission selection set of UI screens, which are now complete - or at least as much as possible without actual missions to populate it with. The Morph Selection screen is now fully functional, and there's a brief set of tutorial popups to help guide folks along. We also have a new set of CG variants, featuring the Maelish Director!


My next planned objective is the UI that'll be used in the missions themselves. I've started on this a bit already, however, I'm not currently expecting this to be in a state to show off by next release. So, I'll be focusing as well on a bit of Hellfire content, and perhaps filling in the Codex as well. There'll also be new art, I actually received in a piece just tonight which didn't have time to make it in for tonight's release. I'll remind our patrons again about the development poll running for the rest of the week, as we may be starting work on the next selection of art before it's actually timed out.

Game Functions:

  • Monthly Cheat Code Updated
  • Mission Tutorial button and popup boxes added to Mission Selection screens.
  • Mission Selection Updates:

- Corrected state cleanup issues when canceling selections and then returning to the screens.

- Morph Selections now include gender toggles for non-Terran races.

- Impersonation Skill texts are now linked in to actual skill. When skill is 50% or higher, the text will disappear and the race will be selectable. Portraits will be greyed out when not selectable.

- Terran portrait now matches your character selection.

- Morph portraits will default to your character selection gender, but will swap when applicable based on your selection here.

Bug Fixes:

  • None

Known Issues:

  • TTS dialogue cannot be interrupted once begun. May have issues if triggered on multiple screens at once. TTS support is 64-bit Windows only.
  • WebGL Issues: Be warned that save game data in WebGL mode is less permanent than PC standalone. May also be more prone to memory and other issues.
