Hey fans, time for another Carnal Coup update! We've got another art-heavy update tonight, with three different sets of Director portraits, and a pair of Celopi CGs! This also means that, with the exception of a few possible future variants, we are now complete on NPC designs and portraits. To be honest, when I first started this project I wasn't sure if we'd even get this many, but as the writing has taken more time than I first scheduled, the art has definitely caught up. With NPCs done, the art staff is getting a bit of a retasking - while Suki is still finishing the last of the Citizen CGs, Vin will be adding in more backgrounds while TDK gets started on Director CGs (which are also the focus of the current development poll, if you can vote and missed it so far).

Scene-wise, we've also got the Princess set of Flirt scenes, as we see her finding new purpose under the Overseer's guidance. Switch will be the next on the list for next release. As I mentioned earlier, my plan right now is for a short release schedule for the next one, to avoid aiming a release for Halloween night. That likewise means a smaller update for the month, but that will just mean more content in November when we catch up. A final note, I noticed during testing for this release that there seems to be a display issue with the buttons for revisiting past Random Encounters, so I'll be taking a look at that in the near future. Known Issues:

  • When reviewing random encounter scenes that have been unlocked, the selection options may not show the correct buttons.
  • TTS dialogue cannot be interrupted once begun. May have issues if triggered on multiple screens at once. TTS support is 64-bit Windows only.
  • WebGL Issues: Be warned that save game data in WebGL mode is less permanent than PC standalone. May also be more prone to memory and other issues.
