Sweary liveshow in one hour! (Patreon)

This is your reminder that the Lingthusiasm liveshow about swearing will be starting in exactly one (1) hour from the timestamp of this post/email, thanks to the magic of scheduling posts at very specific times!

The show will take place on the Lingthusiasm Discord, which is available for all patrons at the Ling-thusiast tier and above. If you haven't joined the Discord yet, here are instructions for linking your Patreon and Discord accounts. Once you get into Discord, you'll see a whole bunch of text channels to type in and one audio channel called "listen here" (scroll all the way to the bottom), which is what you click on to join the show (don't worry, everyone except your cohosts will be automatically muted on joining). If you get confused while you're in there, post in one of the channels (such as #suggestions-and-help) and other people can help you get in the right spot! 

There will be music playing in the listen channel for a few minutes before the top of the hour to give you something to do as you filter in.

The show will last a bit over half an hour, like a normal Lingthusiasm episode, and then we'll open up the floor in the audio channel for the rest of the hour and we can chat a bit informally with any of you who want to hang around, like if we were in the lobby after a physical show! If this time falls when you'd be sleeping or are otherwise busy, or if you just don't feel like figuring out a new tech platform, we'll also have the edited audio and transcript as our May bonus episode.
