A new round of Lingthusiasm merch is here! A new round of nerdy scarves and children's clothes, plus expanding all the scarf designs to mugs and notebooks!

Esoteric symbols on scarves, mugs, and notebooks!

Have you ever browsed the "Insert Symbol" menu just to explore all the cool symbols? Do you stay up late down a Wikipedia rabbit hole about obscure symbols? Would your ideal love letter be written in webdings? Or do you just...somehow...know a little bit too much about Unicode?

You're no longer alone. We've hand-selected our favourite esoteric Unicode symbols from the editing, logic, music, game piece, punctuation, mathematics, currency, shapes, planets, arrows, and Just Plain Looks Cool sections of Unicode, including fan favourites like the interrobang, multiocular o, the old school b&w snowman, the pilcrow (paragraph marker), the one-em, two-em AND three-em dashes, and yes, the classic Unicode error diamond with question mark itself. (No emoji or alphabetic/orthographic symbols because, well, we had to draw the line somewhere.)

You can now enjoy these esoteric symbols in a pleasing tile pattern on a scarf, mug, or notebook! Available in black on white, white on black, brown on cream, light blue on medium blue, or bright green on near-black, whether your inspiration for symbols is medieval manuscripts, Word docs, vintage airmail, Night Mode, or The Matrix, we've got you covered. Most people who see it will just think it's some random design, but the one person in a thousand who appreciates it is your new best friend.

IPA and tree diagram prints now on mugs and notebooks!

Rounding out the collection, our popular International Phonetic Alphabet and tree diagram prints are now also available on mugs and notebooks in addition to scarves and ties! You can now adorn both your body and your desk with evidence of your linguistics fandom!

Little Longitudinal Language Acquisition Project onesies!

By popular demand, we're also making the baby onesie that Gretchen designed for Lauren available to put on your own little longitudinal language acquisition project! Available in baby onesies and children's t-shirts, with options reading Mum's/Dad's/Mom's or just plain Little Longitudinal Language Acquisition Project (suitable for all kinship relations). Perfect for that linguist or language fan you know who's having a baby!

We're sharing the new merch with you, our patrons, before we make it public later this month, so you may even be able to get it in your hands before the world knows it exists. As ever, we love to see your photos of any of the Lingthusiasm merch in your lives!
