The supporting characters are so completely fleshed out that you want to know all about them. Korea has no shortage of character actors and in some dramas they have actually saved a show that I otherwise wouldn't watch, just because one of my favorites has a supporting role. In this show, just like the leads, they reveal themselves very slowly. Ju-Ri goes through a lot of changes, but everything is revealed slowly. The thing I dislike the most about American TV shows is that you're always told up front whether you should like or dislike a character. This one is bad, this one is good. The best Kdramas just show you the person and let you get to know them, then it's up to you how you feel about them.
