Yeah, I didn't like Dong Hoon much at first either but the thing is that in this drama, unlike most others, a lot of the characters actually change and grow from what happens to them in the show world. Some do not and you probably know who they are already. There isn't a single frame or line of dialogue in the show that doesn't mean something. It's why the series is worth watching over and over because it's impossible to catch it all the first time. I've watched a lot of Kdrama and the only other one that is on the same level as My Mister is It's OK Not To Be Ok. On a side note, Mister doesn't mean the same thing that it does in English. It's usually used for older men who you repect or want to address politely. It's much closer to Uncle in meaning and you'll see it translated that way a lot in things Korean.
