In the corridors of the high tower of thought, DCSchiller lifted his gaze, observing the surface changes in consciousness, then turned to Superego beside him and said:

"So, you've been waiting here for him. It's understandable though. Marvel's superheroes are more serious. They should have realized that dealing with a mentally unstable person requires some coercive measures."

Superego leaned on the railing, responding, "If greed could be cured, or if the situation could improve slightly, it would signify that we're all on the road to recovery, taking a significant step forward."

"Compared to that, the amount of energy is insignificant."

DCSchiller chuckled and added, "But the children were quite scared. They've been hiding in their hospital room for the past few days."

Superego turned and said, "I'll go comfort them."

Watching Superego's departing figure, DCSchiller knew he was feeling somewhat annoyed by the greedy behavior.

However, Superego represented the collective will of the personalities. He had no need to speak harshly to the others, but judging by the extent of his anger, Marvel Schiller was definitely in for trouble this time.

Just as DCSchiller speculated, Marvel Schiller was deeply engulfed in doubt now.

He felt he might be overworked, hallucinating, or perhaps under some illusion. How else could he have had such an absurd dream where everyone ignored him?

What puzzled Schiller the most was that regardless of his interests or emotional needs, his friends had absolutely no reason to push him away.

With his strong earning ability, firm leadership guiding humanity forward, and the depth of his friendships, why would they suddenly isolate him?

Schiller, being a mentally unstable person himself, experienced some of the "lack of self-awareness" that many mentally ill patients do. In his view, his behavior was perfectly normal.

Schiller helped S.H.I.E.L.D. accumulate capital, facilitated business operations at Sanctum Sanctorum, boosted Stark Industries' status, and assisted Asgard in preparing for potential crises...

From both the process and the results, he had done exceptionally well. He didn't believe there could be any time traveler who did it better than him.

After all, Schiller felt that his series of plans not only addressed his interests and emotional needs but also enhanced both personal and racial strength, healed personal psychological traumas, and resolved many conflicts among people.

In the end, by using the power of the system to mend all the sadness, wouldn't everyone be happy? Why did things go wrong at the very last step?

Schiller couldn't accept this outcome. He had taken ninety-nine steps, so why did the last one falter?

Schiller's initial thought was whether he had inadvertently done something wrong?

For instance, bringing Howard and EugeneResurrection back, only to have them continue arguing with their son, resulting in Stark and Strange becoming angrier, hence ignoring him.

But when Schiller picked up his medical records and reviewed the psychological assessments he had done for Stark and Strange concerning their handling of familial relationships, their attitudes seemed similar.

Though they didn't quite get along with their family members' personalities, they still valued family ties. Despite occasional conflicts with their relatives, overall, they had mutual love.

So, these two had no reason to trouble Schiller, let alone others.

Nick, the insatiable glutton, would never fire his best financial advisor. Loki, knowing that Asgard might face imminent crises, wouldn't disregard the need for Schiller's strength.

Schiller spent a whole day pondering in the clinic, still couldn't figure it out. But he refused to give up. He believed there were still good people in this world. So, he dialed Matt's number, only to find out that Matt and Erica had gone to Japan together.

They hadn't reached an agreement on marriage and education issues for the time being, but they had found a way to understand each other.

Their solution was to establish a common enemy and deal with them together until all enemies were eliminated. This would not only strengthen their bond by fighting side by side but also create a safe environment for their future children.

When Schiller called, Matt seemed like he had just woken up. Hearing Matt's tone, Schiller knew they must have stayed up late last night, so he didn't want to ask further and just hung up the phone.

Next, Schiller called Peter, but what shocked him more was that Peter volunteered to Magneto and, along with his good friend Harry, went to intern in the Andromeda Galaxy.

Originally, Magneto was angry about the conflict between Stark and Strange affecting his daughter Polaris, but when Peter approached him, he wavered.

Peter proposed that if he went to the Andromeda Galaxy for a while to teach, the conflicts between mutants and Stark Industries would be forgotten.

Magneto reluctantly agreed. Professor X was ecstatic. Everyone knew Spider-Man was a gem. Perhaps, his abilities in some aspects might not be human's best, but he was versatile.

With his literary prowess, he calculates the stars with a stroke of his pen; with his martial skills, he can raise his hand and crush a starship. His character, morality, and appearance are impeccable. If it weren't for the fact that he already has a girlfriend, Professor X would have to arrange a big match for him.

After Peter's departure, on one hand, he can teach the new batch of young mutants selected, supplementing their theoretical knowledge lacking in the transformation of the floating islands. On the other hand, his personality is much better than most mutants, so with him around, some younger mutants won't stray off course.

As for him suggesting to bring along Little Green Goblin, Professor X didn't mind. The young master of Osborn Industries probably just wants to see if there are any investment opportunities in the Andromeda Galaxy. If there's any future business cooperation, it'll help to have a familiar face.

So, with great joy, Professor X took his two treasures to the Andromeda Galaxy. Before leaving, he made sure to take the marijuana from the Magneto family, ensuring they wouldn't cause trouble and disturb Schiller's recovery.

Having learned about Schiller's situation from Stark, Professor X was even more determined than Stark. He had a deeper understanding of psychology and mental illness.

Professor X knew that mere coddling and comforting wouldn't help with mental illness.

Many people might think that forcibly medicating patients in a mental hospital is inhumane, but many mental patients support being medicated by the hospital when their illness isn't active. After all, during episodes, they lose control and suffer greatly, needing someone to help them.

In Professor X's view, Schiller was in a similar situation. He should be in a state of unawareness, so employing some coercive measures was reasonable, even if it might cause him short-term pain, it would be beneficial in the long run.

Professor X knew how much Schiller had done for mutants, so he assured Stark that mutants fully supported Schiller's treatment plan. If there was anything he needed, they would cooperate fully.

Upon learning that Peter and Harry had resolved their conflicts and embarked on a new adventure in the Andromeda Galaxy, Schiller felt some relief, yet also a sense of loss. It was like a father seeing his children walk steadily on their own for the first time, without needing his assistance.

However, Schiller still wasn't ready to give up. So, he called S.H.I.E.L.D. Wouldn't it be interesting to test the cadre with the optimization space of financial reports?

Natasha answered the call, speaking in an official tone, "Schiller, according to the internal investigation of S.H.I.E.L.D., you've sold a large amount of S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence to Hydra. As the Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., I declare you dismissed, and we reserve the right to hold you accountable..."

Schiller hung up abruptly, then dialed Nick's private secure mobile phone. As soon as the call connected, he heard Nick's voice on the other end:

"Doctor, according to the internal investigation of Hydra, you've sold a large amount of Hydra intelligence to S.H.I.E.L.D. As the Chief Responsible Officer of Hydra in the Americas, I declare you dismissed, and we reserve the right to hold you accountable..."

Schiller hung up again, tossing the mobile phone to the ground.

As the fragments flew, he sat on the sofa, took a few deep breaths, and covered his eyes with his arms.

But Schiller wasn't giving up so easily. Couldn't a superhero do without him? Couldn't he switch sides?

Schiller began to count on his fingers, figuring out which villains he could rely on now.

The "Spider-Man" series was definitely out of the question. The villains in the Spider-Man series tend to be more civilian-like, with the Sinister Six each having their unique abilities. Now, in the current world, these abilities could be maximized in their respective positions, and they were all doing well, with no need for Schiller's help.

The "Captain America" series was also excluded. The Hydra or Skrulls they dealt with in several movies were no longer relevant.

The "Iron Man" series had to be excluded too. Obadiah was still in the hospital, Whiplash was participating in a confidential research project in Russia, and many military and Congress members had been killed by Schiller's actions. The newcomers who recently came to power were busy consolidating their positions and had no time for mischief.

The biggest antagonist in the "Thor" series, Pailo, was now in the interstellar realm, drifting and disconnected. Also, since Odin hadn't died yet, Hela and other restless villains were afraid of provoking the wrath of the heavens.

In the "Sorcerer Supreme" series, Strange no longer had the chance to have an accident. Mordo was busy with the annual financial report of the dark dimension. The other sorcerers who were supposed to betray had now been organized into Sanctum Sanctorum Customer Service, losing the opportunity to become villains.

Schiller didn't have contact information for the villains faced by other superheroes, nor did he understand much about them. After pondering, Schiller finally focused his attention on the most popular "Avengers" series.

Of course, the first half of the Avengers' story was about civil war, but the basic catalyst for the civil war, the Howard couple, had already been resurrected. It would be meaningless to dwell on past hatreds, and the two sides wouldn't fight each other anymore.

However, thinking about the latter half of the Avengers' story, Schiller had a new idea.

Thanos? Time to save the day!
