Immortal Path Space : Table of Content/Chapter List

After Wang Hong had successfully planted all the Spiritual Herbs needed for Golden Core cultivation, he took a few turns within his Space.

Currently, most of what he was planting in the Space were second-tier Spiritual Objects. This was due to the large number of disciples he had gathered during his Foundation Building stage, resulting in a high demand.

Of course, among them were several millennia-old Spiritual Objects.

The spiritual silkworms he was nurturing had already grown to the size of a thumb, and in a few more years within the Space, they should be able to produce silk.

The region where the Poisonous Bees thrived was filled with various toxic flowers and plants.

In particular, the Red Powder Skull Flower was the most abundant. After Wang Hong had experienced the benefits of using the Red Powder Skull Flower's pollen a few times, he deliberately increased its cultivation.

He now controlled the area with Poisonous Bees by forming walls of Spiritual Energy, trapping those inside from escaping and preventing outsiders from entering.

Thanks to the improvement in the Bee Queen's bloodline, the overall strength of the bee colony had also increased. Many of the Poisonous Bees had naturally grown to the level of a top-tier variety.

After playing around in the Space for a while, Wang Hong began to read. He had collected some information and intended to study the Refinement methods of the Spirit Energy Cannon.

For this purpose, he dismantled a Spirit Energy Cannon from his Flying Boat to use as a reference.

Without any surprises, he completely disassembled the Spirit Energy Cannon, rendering it impossible to restore to its original state. It was essentially a wasted cannon.

However, Wang Hong paid no mind to this loss. As long as he could master the Refinement method for the Spirit Energy Cannon, he would be able to create numerous Spirit Energy Cannons.

In the days that followed, whenever he had some free time, he delved into the Space to study the Refinement of the Spirit Energy Cannon.

If others were to learn of this, they would surely think he had gone mad. After all, refining a tool like the Spirit Energy Cannon without the necessary blueprints and the guidance of predecessors was considered an impossible dream.

However, Wang Hong never thought this way. He believed that all Cultivation Techniques, secrets, Magical Weapons, and Talismans were not gifts from the heavens. These were all creations of the Human Clan, developed over countless years of accumulated knowledge by their ancestors.

Since their forebears could create these things, Wang Hong saw no reason why the later generations, building upon the foundation of their predecessors, couldn't surpass them.

Believing that the present was inferior to the past was nothing more than a self-imposed limitation.

He had now grasped the principles behind the Spirit Energy Cannon. In essence, it was a fusion of refining tools and formations, with its functionality somewhat similar to that of a Talisman.

A Talisman converted a Magical Art into a formation, preserving it on a piece of paper. When used, it only required a slight activation of Spiritual Power.

On the other hand, the Spirit Energy Cannon utilized Spirit Stones as a foundation for Spiritual Energy, internally mimicking the Spiritual Energy circulation of a Magical Art through a formation. It then converted this Spiritual Energy into a Magical Art's explosive force.

Now that he had unraveled the intricacies, Wang Hong wasted no time and got to work.

Fortunately, he had collected a sufficient amount of materials beforehand. In no time, he found several suitable pieces and began the Refinement process.

At this point, neither refining tools nor formations posed significant challenges to him.

In just three days, he successfully Refinemented a Spirit Energy Cannon.
The cannon barrel of this artillery piece was thick and long, exuding a fearsome and imposing presence that would startle even the timid.

Wang Hong prepared to test-fire the cannon to gauge its effectiveness. He quietly found a secluded spot where no one was around and took out the artillery piece.

With practiced ease, he loaded Spirit Stones into it and placed his hand on a slight protrusion. Injecting a small amount of Spiritual Power, he activated it.

Soon, he saw the Spirit Energy Cannon emitting fluctuations of Spiritual Energy and a faint glow.

"Boom!" A deafening roar erupted, alarming all the cultivators in the camp. They thought it was a Demonic Beast attack and rushed out of their respective buildings, brandishing their weapons.

In the Demon Clan, there were also individuals with unique talents, and sometimes they would breach the defenses, launching surprise attacks from behind on Human Clan cultivators. This had happened several times at the defense line.

At this moment, no one dared to be complacent. When they reached the source of the sound, they saw a dark figure trying to get up from the ground.

Though they couldn't discern the exact type of Demonic Beast it was, it bore some resemblance to a human. There were humanoid Demonic Beasts in the Demon Clan, so it didn't seem too surprising to them.

Their combat instincts were highly developed. Without hesitation, they wielded their Magical Weapons, ready to strike at the dark figure.

"Evil creature! Daring to attack our camp alone!"

"Eat this!"

"Die!"

...

Just as all the Magical Weapons were about to strike, seemingly about to reduce the figure to ashes, the shadowy figure suddenly blurred and turned into a streak of afterimage, swiftly moving out of the range of their attacks.

Only a few Spiritual Weapons managed to hit the figure, but this Demonic Beast was resilient. Despite taking hits from multiple Spiritual Weapons simultaneously, it only staggered back a step before regaining its balance.

As the crowd prepared to realign their Magical Weapons and aim again, the humanoid figure unexpectedly spoke in the Human Clan's language, "Stop, everyone! It's me!"

"Hmm? Looks like a person!"

"Did we make a mistake?"

"What's going on with you?"

Many questions crossed their minds, and although they retracted their wielded Magical Weapons, they remained vigilant. There were many in the Demon Clan who could communicate in the Human Clan's language.

Skinny Monkey in the crowd had already recognized the voice and exclaimed in astonishment, "East Master! What are you doing here? Everyone, stop! This is our East Master!"

Wang Hong took this opportunity to wipe his face clean, removing a layer of black soot, revealing his facial features faintly. Many in the crowd recognized him at this point, and they finally ceased their actions.

"Very sorry for the disturbance, fellow cultivators. I was testing the power of a Spiritual Weapon, and it made a bit too much noise," he said while repeatedly apologizing.

Gradually, the others dispersed, but they were left with lingering confusion. They couldn't fathom what kind of Spiritual Weapon could be so terrifying that it even injured its wielder.

Wang Hong had ignited the Spirit Energy Cannon moments ago, intending to fire it, but to his surprise, the entire Spirit Energy Cannon suddenly exploded.

Since the explosion occurred right next to him and he was caught off guard, he had absorbed the full force of the explosion.

The explosion's power was no less than a full-force strike from a late Foundation Building stage cultivator. Fortunately, his body refinement had reached a certain level; otherwise, he might have been reduced to a pile of flesh.

"East Master, were you planning to go out with a bang?" Skinny Monkey, seeing that Wang Hong seemed unharmed, teased him.

Wang Hong had no time to deal with him; he was lost in thought, pondering the cause of his recent failure.
