Great Canada, Northern Polar Ice Plains, a remote canyon.

Onslaught glanced irritably at the dozens of Decepticon Engineers coming and going in front of him. He impatiently slapped one of the Engineers who had gotten too close while carrying cargo, sending him flying.

"Get lost!"

His face was filled with annoyance. Blastoff, standing nearby, observed the slowly widening cave entrance with a grimace of impatience.

"Boss, how much longer do we have to stay in this rat hole?"

It had been almost two months since they last clashed with Frenzy and his gang. Due to injuries, Onslaught and his Warbot Team hadn't ventured too far. They remained within the borders of Great Canada, near the Northern Polar Ice Plains. They had found a relatively open canyon and carved out a cave at the base of its mountain walls to serve as their temporary base.

Swindle, who was relatively cautious, seemed content with the environment. He retorted, "Why leave? Isn't this place pretty good? After the boss created this batch of Engineers, we don't have to do the grunt work ourselves. Several mining sites are also under construction. We'll soon have a steady supply of resources."

Noisy pushed him aside and sneered, "Useless waste. Death will never change the cowardice deep within you!"

"Do you want to fight?"

Swindle knew he couldn't beat Noisy, but he remained defiant.

Being intelligent, he understood that what Onslaught disliked most was his subordinates bickering endlessly, let alone allowing them to engage in internal conflicts.

Sure enough, as their heated argument was about to escalate into a brawl, Onslaught finally spoke up.

"Enough, both of you, step aside. Our base is in shambles right now, and there's plenty of work to be done. If you have excess energy, put it to good use and help out!"

"Understood, boss!"

Swindle wore a beaming smile and promptly moved to the side.

Oddly enough, Noisy, despite his anger, had to obey Onslaught's command. At present, Onslaught held the supreme position within the Warbot Team.

Onslaught coldly glanced at him, not hiding the violent intent in his heart.

Even though Noisy had a fiery temper, he reluctantly lowered his head after locking eyes with Onslaught, acknowledging his submission.

"I'll help with transporting the Machines!"

He said this and quickly departed.

Blastoff disdainfully rolled his eyes, and after a cold glance from Onslaught, he turned and started directing the Engineers nearby.

With their troublesome teammates gone, Onslaught turned to Vortex, who was still waiting nearby.

"Starscream will be contacting me remotely shortly. What's your take on it?"

Among Onslaught's four teammates in the Warbot Team, Vortex was the only Decepticon who had some intelligence.

Long ago, Onslaught had used him as his own strategist, and Vortex had indeed provided him with some cunning ideas.

Vortex's red optics flickered as he appeared to be deep in thought.

Onslaught didn't rush him. In fact, he was also pondering why Starscream had suddenly contacted him.

Since the battle in the Arctic had ended, Onslaught had suffered a blow to his pride due to the Warbot Team's acquisition of Fusion Leopard's combining ability. After a hasty retreat, Onslaught had started to reflect on the reasons behind their failure.

He did have a personality marked by arrogance, pride, and self-centeredness, and he was a perfectionist with some psychological issues. However, this didn't mean Onslaught couldn't engage in self-reflection. In fact, it was precisely because of his continuous introspection after failures that he hadn't met the same fate as other members of the Warbot Team, who had perished in the ongoing Civil War that had lasted for millions of years.

During this moment of introspection, Onslaught recalled some information Starscream had relayed to him on the Moon regarding Frenzy's rise on Earth. After carefully reviewing it, even Onslaught couldn't help but be impressed by Frenzy's intelligence, tactics, and ambition.

Starting as a Cassette Legion Spy, who was not known for combat prowess and was initially considered a semi-useless individual after awakening, Frenzy had gradually seized various opportunities and climbed the ranks on Earth. In just a few short years, he had risen to a level where he could directly compete with Onslaught himself.

"Resources... resources... resources..."

The word echoed repeatedly in Onslaught's mind, setting his thoughts ablaze.

Despite his arrogance and pride, Onslaught had begun to acknowledge that Frenzy's ascent was partly due to the abundant resources on Earth. Therefore, after a brief period of contemplation, Onslaught decided it was time to learn a thing or two.

He specifically chose the Arctic region of Great Canada, where the harsh environment posed a significant challenge for humans. However, Cybertronians couldn't care less about the cold, as they had established mining facilities and bases in even more hostile environments during the time of the Council of Primes.

In Onslaught's eyes, this remote Arctic location was like a chosen land given to him by the heavens.

Over the past two months, Onslaught, who was already skilled in nurturing Decepticon Engineers, had cultivated dozens of Engineers to serve him. Simultaneously, they had discovered several mineral veins and provided mining equipment for the Engineers to use.

Now, every day, they mined and smelted tons of various metals, and their efficiency was continuously increasing, driving overall development toward a better future.

"Boss!"

Vortex, who had finished his contemplation, quickly interrupted Onslaught's thoughts.

As Onslaught snapped back to attention, Vortex began his analysis, "I think Starscream's sudden contact with you is likely an attempt to continue using us as pawns."

"Autobots are reportedly thriving in Africa, and nearly all of South America has fallen under Frenzy's control. Many Human nations in North America, Asia, and Europe have joined the hunt against Decepticons."

"Skytiger Legion has almost no solid footing left on Earth now. Megatron is said to have only his head left, and his authority on the Moon is not as unquestioned as before. Naturally, he wants to use our help to turn the tide."

Onslaught nodded slightly. Vortex's conclusion aligned with his thoughts.

Within the Skytiger Legion, factions had always been in conflict. The trio of Megatron, Shockwave, and Soundwave had been the dominant force, commanding over 90% of the Legion's forces and resources during its peak.

However, Starscream, who had revolted twice, had formed his own faction, Onslaught considered himself another faction, and there were several other factions of varying sizes.

If Megatron's faction still held significant power, it wouldn't be cause for concern. However, with Megatron reduced to just a head and Soundwave killed by Frenzy, and Shockwave and his Major not yet arrived, Starscream was now the most powerful faction within the Skytiger Legion in the Solar System. So, Starscream wanting to stir things up at this moment was not at all surprising to Onslaught and his team.
