Over an hour later, three Golden Eagle transport ships landed in a desolate area within the Arctic Circle.

Just like when they arrived, Sun Cheng and his team boarded the transport ship again. Under the protection of two Golden Eagle fighter ships that had already entered the atmosphere, they set course for South America.

Compared to the journey here, the interior of the transport ship was much quieter now.

In this conflict, eight advanced warriors were lost.

For Sun Cheng and his team, this was a significant defeat, a rarity for them.

"Fusion Leopard... another giant Devastator," Sun Cheng muttered, clenching his fists in frustration. His mood was exceptionally grim.

The return of Onslaught was just the beginning for him.

According to the available intelligence, Shockwave, a Major leading the Skytiger Legion, was about to reach the Solar System.

Not long ago, it seemed that the Autobots had also awakened their former leader, Sentinel Prime, who harbored extreme animosity towards the Decepticons.

Moreover, evidence suggesting the Quintessons had once visited Earth was found in the Arctic region.

"This world is becoming increasingly unfamiliar!"

After much contemplation, Sun Cheng decided to close his eyes and think on the transport ship.

He, who had been in the center of several Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs during the blastoff, now had severe damage to his mechanical body, occasionally sparking with electrical discharges.

Giant Devastators were among the few formidable challenges they couldn't overcome at this stage. Although these war monsters were not invincible, their formidable firepower and terrifying strength meant that even Leader-class warriors had to avoid their edge until their energy was depleted.

It could be foreseen that with the return of Onslaught, even more intense battles and possibly wars would follow.

With a shortage of high-end combat power and a relatively shallow foundation, Sun Cheng's forces had been established for less than three years. If the Decepticons didn't disdain Earth and the Autobots weren't too self-important, he wouldn't have had the opportunity to claim a piece of land and develop his influence on Earth.

However, despite having the advantage, catching up to the deep-rooted Skytiger Legion and Autobot forces in just a few years was impossible.

When Megatron returned, or when Shockwave arrived in the Solar System, the force he had painstakingly built might be completely destroyed in a short time.

"We need to prepare for war!"

Base Two had to start mobilizing, and there had to be urgent supplies to Mars. To prevent Earth from suffering a devastating blow in the future, more manpower needed to be sent to Mars in advance.

Besides, Sun Cheng felt that he should make an effort on the Autobot side.

Superior General Sentinel Prime seemed to have been awakened, as the communication between them and the Autobots had almost ceased a few months ago.

Sun Cheng had already reached an agreement with Optimus Prime for mutual intelligence sharing and limited cooperation in some other aspects. However, in the past few months, everything had come to a standstill. All other collaborations had ceased, even the exchange of intelligence about the Decepticons, which used to be frequent between the two factions, had stopped for several months.

Sun Cheng continued timely transmission of the latest Decepticon intelligence he gathered on Earth, including information about active Decepticons. However, there was never any response from New Iron Fortress City.

This was not good news. Sun Cheng's experiences in this world over the past few years had turned him into someone far from the clueless college student he used to be, especially when it came to politics.

He knew that the change in attitude on the Autobot side could only mean one thing—Superior General Sentinel Prime, rescued by the Autobots from the Moon, had been awakened.

Optimus Prime held the coveted [Leadership Module], even if Sentinel Prime was dead, it wouldn't be difficult to reawaken him using this sacred artifact.

Moreover, this Superior General was also the current Autobot Leader—Optimus Prime's mentor.

Despite Sun Cheng's repeated reminders and hints to Optimus Prime about the potential secrets between Sentinel Prime and Megatron, the young Autobot Leader's receptiveness remained unknown, influenced by Sun Cheng's Decepticon identity in this world.

Sun Cheng believed that he needed to quickly clarify one thing: who held the power in New Iron Fortress City.

Superior General Sentinel Prime was a leader who highly valued power, evident from his past experiences.

Being from the Primus family, Sentinel Prime accepted the support of the Council of Primes to ascend to the throne.

Later, in order to eliminate the Council of Primes, who attempted to puppet him, he supported Megatron and his Skytiger Legion's rise.

When the Council of Primes was completely overthrown, Sentinel Prime became the supreme king of Cybertron Planet. However, he then turned his guns on Megatron.

Unfortunately, Sentinel Prime underestimated Megatron, a gladiator slave he had always looked down upon. Megatron, equally ambitious, knew that after the overthrow of the Council of Primes, the next step for Sentinel Prime, who had elevated him from a lowly gladiator slave to a hero opposing the aristocracy and had supported him in controlling the military power of Cybertron Planet, would be to eliminate him.

The well-established Megatron took the initiative to target his former benefactor before Sentinel Prime could act against him. Subsequently, a prolonged Civil War between the Autobots and Skytiger Legion ensued for millions of years.

Sentinel Prime's hostility towards the Decepticons originated from Megatron's betrayal.

Rather than a king, it would be more fitting to call him a tyrant.

He could disregard betraying any Cybertronians but could not accept anyone betraying him.

From all the intelligence Sun Cheng had gathered about Sentinel Prime, he deduced the tyrant's strong desire for power.

Therefore, Sun Cheng believed that once Superior General Sentinel Prime was reawakened by Optimus Prime, there would likely be a conflict over the leadership position in the New Iron Fortress City in Africa.

Even if Optimus Prime willingly relinquished power, his subordinates might not be willing to accept it.

Don't think that Superior General Sentinel Prime had a high reputation and prestige within the Autobots. His brutal suppression of the peacemakers within the Autobots during the Civil War and his sudden resignation at the end of the Civil War were seen by some Autobots as clear attempts to shift blame.

Sun Cheng had once accessed the memory chip of Optimus Prime's former adjutant, Jazz. Jazz, Ironhide, and other staunch supporters of Optimus Prime were not particularly fond of Sentinel Prime.

Combined with the current temporary attitude of New Iron Fortress City, Sun Cheng gradually developed some thoughts.

"...If Sentinel Prime successfully takes control of New Iron Fortress City, given his hostility towards the Decepticons, he'll probably deal with me, who is also on Earth, first..."

"So, there's a high probability that Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime, this master-disciple pair, are still at odds in New Iron Fortress City..."

The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed. Following this line of thought, Sun Cheng continued to ponder deeper.

Suddenly, a terrifying idea burst into his mind.

"Why don't I try to bring Optimus Prime and the Autobots into one alliance?"
