"Uh-oh!"

A team member lost connection on the communication channel, and Sun Cheng, who was engaged in a fierce battle with Onslaught over a hundred meters away, instantly grasped the situation.

The fight with Onslaught was challenging for him, so except for the initial moments, Sun Cheng had diverted his attention to the battlefield.

For a while, he focused all his energy on the battle with Onslaught.

The intense battle with this Decepticon high-level commander accelerated Sun Cheng's control over his new mechanical body, which had previously stagnated. The progress skyrocketed at a rapid pace.

The veteran powerhouse exerted immense pressure on Sun Cheng, especially when Onslaught transitioned from initial probing to a more aggressive stance. Sun Cheng's injuries increased rapidly, making it even riskier to divert his attention.

In terms of raw power, the two were evenly matched.

Sun Cheng had roughly estimated Onslaught's strength, both stuck at the Leader level threshold. Although he possessed a mechanical body comparable to a Leader, he couldn't unleash its full potential. His combat capability could only reach around thirty percent.

On the other hand, Onslaught, through millions of years of battles and exploration, had almost maximized the potential of his mechanical body. His combat experience surpassed Sun Cheng by a significant margin.

But surpassing him was no easy task for Onslaught!

His current state was peculiar, indicating an incomplete qualitative transformation.

The reason Leaders were called Leaders was due to a fundamental change Cybertronians underwent upon reaching this level. Their Sparks contained more abundant energy, their mechanical bodies became stronger and more robust, and their combat awareness and learning abilities underwent leaps.

However, Onslaught's current state seemed to have a considerable gap compared to the Leader information Sun Cheng had obtained.

Applying concepts he had gathered from various online novels during his internet research and idle times, both Sun Cheng and Onslaught should be at the half-Step Leader level now. [XD]

However, Onslaught possessed richer combat experience and superior control over his body, consistently keeping Sun Cheng at a disadvantage.

Losing an advanced warrior might not mean much to the powerful Skytiger Legion or the Autobots with their vast resources, but Sun Cheng's force was not as luxurious.

In this encounter with Onslaught, despite being prepared for the sacrifice of some of his subordinates from the beginning, Sun Cheng still hoped to retreat unscathed.

"Alright, there will be more chances to train!"

With a heart full of regret, Sun Cheng decided not to spar with Onslaught and his Warbot Team any longer.

In an instant, he erupted with full force, swinging his heavy sword forcefully against Onslaught's. Sun Cheng poured all his resentment into the strike, while Onslaught still held back some of his strength, caught off guard. The heavy sword swung by Sun Cheng forced Onslaught to stagger back four or five meters before regaining his stance.

"Golden Eagle Team, launch Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs!"

Although the Golden Eagle transport ship that brought Sun Cheng and the team had already departed, they weren't alone. Two Golden Eagle fighter jets accompanied them, currently stealthily orbiting Earth's outer space, ready to follow Sun Cheng's orders.

Summoning firepower support was a tactic Sun Cheng had learned from the Americans.

Since the end of World War II, the U.S. Military has almost never ceased its external military engagements. This holds true not only in the real world but also in the Transformers Universe.

From the Korean War to conflicts in South Vietnam, the Gulf War, and various evil invasions, the U.S. Military has employed a simple yet consistently effective military tactic—calling in firepower support. Despite being dubbed as "gentlemen soldiers," the U.S. forces, while not pampered, boast top-notch training and equipment. However, their tactics, combat will, and resilience, even on a global scale, are not considered exceptional.

Despite the absolute crushing power advantage, they suffered significant defeats in places like the Korean Peninsula, South Vietnam, the Gulf, Somalia, etc. Nevertheless, with the progress of time and technology, some elements such as tactics and combat will have gradually been leveled out by technology.

Learning from the bitter experiences of the South Vietnam War, the U.S. Military made noticeable improvements starting from the Gulf War.

In the Transformers Universe, Sun Cheng, now equipped with Mechanical Body, took advantage of the Decepticons' rapid information processing technology to allocate some of his resources. He specifically delved into the records and post-war analyses of modern military battles on Earth from various nations.

Thanks to this, despite not having a military academy background, he now possessed impressive strategic insights.

Although the clumsy Hynix had not yet reached its designated area according to the plan, Sun Cheng had prepared a contingency plan in Outer Space, ready to provide firepower support at any moment.

After issuing a command, the two Golden Eagle fighter jets, which had remained silent in the communication network, immediately responded.

"Ship 7, received!"

"Ship 12, received!"

All Decepticon warriors under Sun Cheng were currently linked within the communication channel. Upon learning that the Golden Eagle fighter jets were about to launch Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs, each of them silently activated the anti-electromagnetic shields within their mechanical bodies.

In an instant, their mechanical bodies' surfaces seemed to be covered with silver-gray veins.

The battle continued. Thunder and the others exerted their full strength, entangling their opponents as much as possible.

Electromagnetic pulse weapons were undoubtedly one of the deadliest weapons for Cybertronians.

The Golden Eagle fighter jets launched Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs directly from outer space toward the battlefield, seemingly conducting indiscriminate attacks on the entire area. However, all advanced Decepticon warriors under Sun Cheng had undergone specialized electromagnetic resistance treatment. After several technological upgrades, they could now control their losses to below half of the opponent's average when Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs detonated.

Thus, Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs, once considered a ruthless weapon, had become a routine means for Sun Cheng.

And now, it was time for them to shine.

The time Vortex could be maintained was shorter than expected. Controlling Vortex for just a few minutes, he exhaustedly spiraled down from the sky.

Only when he was about to approach the ground did he narrowly transform back into combat form and awkwardly crash onto the ground.

However, judging by Vortex's condition, it was evident that the Vortex he had just created not only controlled the opponent but also severely affected himself.

Blastoff, familiar with his teammate's situation, could only helplessly retreat to his side after killing and severely damaging three advanced warriors.

Meanwhile, in the sky, streaks of Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs, resembling shooting stars with long tails, rapidly descended, capturing Onslaught's attention.
