"Dr. Schiller!! Dr. Schiller!! Are you there?!"

The tranquility of early morning in New York was shattered by a heart-wrenching cry. Outside the Arkham Sanatorium, Peter stood holding Deadpool in one hand and Pikachu in the other, shouting loudly.

Schiller, still in deep slumber on his bed, furrowed his brow and turned over, slowly opening his eyes. He glanced at the clock—it was only 5:30 in the morning. Hearing Peter's voice at this hour, he assumed it was just another one of Peter's hallucinations.

Peter's bizarre sleep schedule, staying up all night and not waking up until the morning, had become ingrained in Schiller's mind. So, without any concern, he dismissed Peter's voice as a hallucination and returned to his dreams.

But just a few seconds later, another shout came from outside, "Dr. Schiller! I need you! Please open the door! We've got a big problem coming!"

Schiller abruptly sat up on his bed, tossing aside the sleep cap on his head with irritation. He teleported downstairs with a Blink, intending to give Peter some guidance from a vantage point of healthy living habits.

However, as he descended the stairs, Schiller saw Peter holding a figure with red and black markings in one hand. In an instant, Schiller transformed into a grey mist and slowly retreated a few meters.

Peter noticed the misty form in front of him and waved at Schiller, saying, "Hey, doctor, it's me. Open the door quickly. I have something important to discuss."

The mist transformed into an arrow with a "bang" and pointed at Deadpool, hanging on the door's railing.

"Oh, him? He's my friend, a mercenary named Deadpool. You might not recognize him," Peter explained.

The mist turned into an exclamation mark with another "bang." Just as Peter was about to shout again, the mist transformed into a slow, deliberate X.

"Uh, I can't come in? It's not me? Then who is it? Deadpool can't come in? Why not? Oh, I see, the hospital probably can't handle his... unique odor. Alright, I'll just leave him here."

Peter then saw the mist form into a larger X. Peter hesitated for a moment and said, "Can't hang him here either? Fine, I'll go find a nearby restaurant and get him something to eat."

When Peter returned, he expected to walk smoothly through the Sanatorium's door. However, what awaited him was a dozen heavily armed medical personnel.

They were dressed in protective suits, holding disinfectant sprayers. As soon as Peter pushed the door, he felt like he had entered a different world. The thick mist of disinfectant made it difficult for him to see the path ahead. If it weren't for his Spider-Sense, he might have walked into a tree.

At first, Peter tried to shield himself with his hands and shouted, "No! Don't spray me! I don't have that many viruses on me!"

But as he continued, he gave up resistance. In front of the Arkham Sanatorium's entrance, Schiller extended a hand to stop Peter's advance. In his mind, Schiller asked the Grey Mist, "Can you sense Deadpool's presence on him?"

"I don't want to, that guy looks really dirty," Grey Mist transmitted a sense of reluctance.

Schiller didn't push it, as for symbiotes like Deadpool, he was their lifelong enemy, a psychological shadow, and had been blacklisted by their species' genes.

"Good boy, be obedient. I just disinfected him. All you need to do is check. After checking, you can have a couple of drinks..."

Grey Mist didn't cheer at the prospect of getting alcohol through deception. Instead, it hesitated and separated a portion of its symbiote factors, approaching Peter.

The moment it got close to Peter, it severed the connection between that part of symbiote factors and its main body. Only after confirming that they hadn't undergone any mutations or contamination did it slowly reestablish the connection.

"Phew, he's safe," Grey Mist's voice sounded relieved. It said, "Do you know how many blacklisted records there are in the genetic directory related to Deadpool? He's a nightmare for symbiotes!"

"You're the bravest symbiote!" Schiller praised. "You've accomplished an unprecedented feat by daring to face Deadpool's presence without flinching. You are my eternal pride!"

Schiller had never been so straightforward in his praise of Grey Mist. But this time, he genuinely felt that way. Facing someone as repulsive as Deadpool, daring to approach and check him was the mark of a true warrior.

Once Schiller confirmed that Peter hadn't been contaminated by Deadpool, he allowed him inside. As soon as Peter entered the office, he anxiously said, "We've got a big mess on our hands, Doctor. Deadpool has stirred up trouble, and the other side has already found out. What should we do?"

"Don't worry, Peter. Please have a seat," Schiller calmly took a chair and poured himself a glass of water. He then asked, "What's the matter?"

"Deadpool, Deadpool... He..." Peter stammered for a moment, then raised his voice, "Deadpool went and defiled Eternity's temple!"

"Oh, Deadpool caused a mess again? He's done things like this before, remember the incident at the Dwarf's starport? But wait, who are you talking about?" Schiller inquired.

"Deadpool," Peter replied.

"No, I meant the one he defiled," Schiller clarified.

"Eternity... Doctor, you may not be aware, but in our Spider-Man team, there's a person named SpaceCaptainSpider-Man. He's incredibly powerful because he's a devout follower of Eternity."

"Eternity granted him immense power, making him the most powerful Spider-Man. According to him, Eternity is the foundation of Space, the greatest God in Space. But Deadpool, he actually..." Peter wore a deeply exasperated expression. "From what I know, Eternity has already noticed him. However, for some reason, he can't pinpoint which Space's Deadpool did it. So, he's issuing a warrant for all Space's Deadpools."

"Why Eternity?" Schiller asked with a hint of confusion.

In truth, what he wanted to ask was, why Eternity and not the One Above All (OAA)? Shouldn't the big boss of the Marvel universe be the One Above All? Even the lousy scenario planners in Marvel were under OAA. Eternity? Just a programmer.

Although Schiller was furious about the scenario planner not compensating him, he wasn't petty enough to go after a programmer. Workers shouldn't make things difficult for other workers. If you're going to confront someone, confront the big boss, or kill the capitalists. Without capitalists, where would the lackeys come from?

Peter sighed and said, "Wade has always been a bit crazy. He keeps saying he's doing it to avenge me. But I don't understand. What grudge do I have with Eternity? I've never offended him."

Schiller cleared his throat and shifted his gaze. Seeing his expression, Peter asked, "Doctor, why do you seem a bit uneasy?"

Schiller's brain began to race, and he set the water glass down, looking into Peter's eyes. "Do you remember telling me that anyone who said 'with great power comes great responsibility' to you has died?"

"Oh, yes, I did say that. I heard it from other Spider-Men too. They said it's Spider-Man's curse," Peter replied, furrowing his brows. Suddenly, he froze in place, staring wide-eyed at Schiller. "You don't mean that this curse was created by Eternity, do you?"

"You said it yourself, Eternity is the greatest God in this Space. Even if he didn't create it, he should know about it. If he knew and didn't intervene, is that right?"

Peter began to feel a heaviness in his chest after uttering a single syllable. After so many interactions with various Spider-Men, he understood that in the stories he had heard, tragedy was summed up in just a few words: "He died" or "They all died." But it hung like a boulder on the backs of all Spider-Men, carrying the pain of their loved ones' deaths, no matter how much good they did or how much they grew, that moment's agony could never be erased.

Peter didn't often delve into mysticism, so he hadn't thought in the direction of gods before. But now, thinking about it, if Space indeed had an all-knowing, all-powerful God, why would he remain indifferent to so much tragedy?

The suffocating feeling in Peter's chest made it hard for him to breathe.

"Deadpool... Maybe he knows something and wants to vent on my behalf?" Peter lowered his head and said, "He used to say some crazy things, like this Comic frame couldn't fit anymore, or that he could see the plot in advance... He's a bit crazy, but he also has some mysterious abilities. But doing this could get him into big trouble!"

Schiller, however, looked at Peter and said, "I do have a way to deal with this, but it requires you to have enough courage."

"Courage?" Peter whispered the word, "Maybe I have it... I must have it... What's the plan?"

"Bring your friend and surrender," Schiller replied.

Peter widened his eyes, looking at Schiller. He said, "I know it's wrong to defile someone else's property, but I can't just... Well, Deadpool is my friend. Even if I can't help him, I can't betray him, right?"

"Rest assured, surrendering can also be done skillfully," Schiller smiled as he flipped through a medical record. This sent shivers down Peter's spine. Then he heard Schiller say, "I guarantee that Eternity won't harm you. Furthermore..."

"He will compensate you generously."
