On the other side, SpaceCaptainSpider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man were in hot pursuit of Solus. They had already discerned Solus's intentions to hunt down the wounded, so they were determined to do everything in their power to thwart his plans.
However, Solus's method of traversing the Multiverse was clearly more advanced than that of Spider-Man and his allies. They had barely chased after two different Spaces when they completely lost track of him, unable even to sense Solus's presence anymore.
"This won't do. Solus will definitely find the wounded before us. We won't be able to catch up to him like this. We need to find more powerful allies!" Amazing Spider-Man remarked with a heavy tone.
"We must first track Solus's whereabouts. But you're right; we need someone to fetch reinforcements. Here's the plan: I'll lead the other Spider-Man to search for Solus, while you go find that Lucky Kid from earlier. His abilities will undoubtedly come in handy," SpaceCaptainSpider-Man suggested after a moment of contemplation.
Amazing Spider-Man sighed and nodded in agreement, even though splitting their forces was not a wise choice. However, given their current situation, it seemed like the only option.
So, SpaceCaptainSpider-Man led the other Spider-Man to search for Solus, while Amazing Spider-Man ventured alone to Peter's Space to fetch reinforcements.
Amazing Spider-Man's teleporter had recorded the parameters of Peter's Space, but it was set in a future timeline. Now, without his legendary future abilities, when he activated the teleporter, he arrived in the present version of the Space.
As the teleporter's glow faded, Amazing Spider-Man found himself above the current Space. He confirmed that he had landed within the Solar System, but what puzzled him was that this Solar System seemed different from what he had imagined.
Normally, the universe was vast and empty, even in relatively small Solar Systems within the Space. For individual beings like humans, such vastness was unimaginable. After traveling through Space for so long, Amazing Spider-Man had grown accustomed to the dark and empty cosmic environment.
But now, the universe he had landed in was bustling with activity.
Turning his head to the left, Spider-Man saw a series of peculiar-looking robots departing from Earth and heading towards the Sun. Turning his head to the right, he witnessed a massive ship resembling an aircraft carrier flying around Earth.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Suddenly, a female voice came from behind him. Amazing Spider-Man turned his head and saw a green-haired girl staring at him.
"Oh, I'm looking for someone. Where can I find the Spider-Man of this Space?" Amazing Spider-Man asked. He had a vague recollection of the green-haired girl, seeming to be a member of the mutants, but he couldn't remember her name.
"Peter, are you kidding me? Aren't you Spider-Man?" the green-haired mutant girl said as she examined Amazing Spider-Man.
Amazing Spider-Man was taken aback, looking incredulously at the girl in front of him. Was this Space's Spider-Man openly identified online? How did everyone here know that Spider-Man was Peter Parker?
"It's not April Fool's Day, is it? Don't try to fool me. If it weren't for your laboratory needing soil analysis experiments and Mercury surface samples, why would I come here? What's wrong with you? Have you lost your memory?" Amazing Spider-Man asked in disbelief.
...
"Sorry, miss, I'm not the Spider-Man of this Space," Amazing Spider-Man tried to explain, though he could have easily fabricated a lie. However, he preferred to tell the truth.
Before he could finish his sentence, the girl opposite him waved her hand, and in an instant, Peter found himself teleported away. He felt no pain; it was as if he had experienced a teleportation technique.
Soon, he appeared on the surface of Earth. He was about to speak when the girl pulled him into a school. Before long, Peter was standing in front of Charles, who pushed up his glasses and said, "Lorna, you should be more polite; after all, he's our guest..."
"Who knows who he is? Didn't you tell me that whenever you encounter suspicious individuals, you should bring them here?" Polaris Luna pointed at Spider-Man and said, "He claims to be Spider-Man from another Space. I think he's talking nonsense."
"He is indeed another Space's Spider-Man, and he's also Peter Parker. Come here, Peter. What are you doing here?" Amazing Spider-Man quickly explained, his tone becoming urgent. "The situation is dire, and if we delay, many people will suffer. I hope we can act quickly."
"Oh, sorry, Professor, I'm late. I'm really sorry..." Just then, the office door opened, and Amazing Spider-Man turned to see a figure standing at the doorway.
The person was wearing a green-striped shirt, a blue-purple suit with a peculiar black tie covered in strange yellow patterns. Looking at the person's face, Amazing Spider-Man was surprised to see Schiller. It seemed another Schiller had appeared.
This Schiller walked up to Charles and said, "Sorry, Professor, I'm late. I need to do psychological counseling for that child who plays with fire. Fortunately, his classmate has self-healing abilities, and the injury has already healed. But he feels guilty and can't come out. I need to console him. Professor, I'm ready to go now..."
Charles shifted his gaze away from Amazing Spider-Man and turned to Schiller, saying, "Oh, it's not a big deal, Dr. Schiller. A boy who plays with fire accidentally burned his classmate, but fortunately, the classmate has self-healing abilities, and the injury has already healed. However, he feels guilty and can't come out. We need you to provide guidance. Let me take you there."
"Wait a minute, Professor! I'm really in a hurry! I need to find Peter. Can you help me locate him? Just tell me his whereabouts!" Amazing Spider-Man interrupted Charles, who was about to leave.
"All right, let me take a look..." Charles paused for a moment and then said, "Oh, he's at Kamar-Taj, but he seems quite busy. Do you want to go there?"
"Yes, I need to see him urgently," Amazing Spider-Man replied with a frown.
Charles exchanged a glance with Polaris, who immediately grabbed Amazing Spider-Man and, using the Earth's magnetic field, swiftly flew him to the Himalayas before dropping him at the entrance of the Kamar-Taj Great Hall.
As soon as Amazing Spider-Man arrived at the Kamar-Taj Great Hall, he was taken aback by the scene before him.
...
At the entrance of the Great Hall, one Schiller wearing a hooded cloak with feathers on his shoulders was drinking with Stark, another Schiller dressed in wizard's robes was studying wands with Strange, an elderly Schiller with white hair and a staff was discussing close combat techniques with the Ancient One, and a gray-haired, elderly Schiller was scolding Peter while holding a pufferfish.
As Amazing Spider-Man stood at the entrance of the Great Hall, he took a step back and glanced at the signboard of Kamar-Taj to confirm that he was in the right place.
He quietly entered the hall and patted Peter on the shoulder, saying, "Hey, Peter, I need to talk to you. What's going on here?"
Peter, looking dejected, glanced at Amazing Spider-Man and gestured for him to be quiet. However, at this moment, the elder Schiller had already noticed him and spoke up, "Are you also Peter Parker? Do you not know how to respect your elders?"
"I know, but I really have an urgent matter," Amazing Spider-Man replied.
"Don't argue with the elder," Peter said in a hushed voice.
"There's one more thing..." the elder Schiller began.
"Wait!" Amazing Spider-Man finally couldn't take it anymore. He stood up and shouted, "Solus of the Inheritor Family has caught up with the injured members of the Spider-Man Legion! They're in danger, and Spider-Man, you need to come with me to rescue them!"
Before Peter could respond, the elder Schiller interjected, "What did you say? Someone wants to bully the injured members?"
"This is an unjust act," the elderly sorcerer Schiller with white hair walked over, tapping the ground with his staff.
On the other side, the Schiller wearing a cloak also stood up, seeming curious about what was happening. With so many Schillers gathering around, Amazing Spider-Man immediately felt the pressure mounting.
He took a few steps back and began explaining, "Here's what happened..."
After he finished speaking, the several Schillers exchanged glances. The elder Schiller was the first to speak, saying, "In addition to respecting our elders, we should also protect the children. They should not be bullied, or else they will learn what it means to face the wrath of their elders."
The eldest Schiller with white hair nodded and said, "If Spider-Man is the righteous force defending Spacepeace, then I should lend a hand in times of peril."
Meanwhile, Stark exchanged a glance with Strange, nudged him, and said, "This is a great opportunity to get these Schillers out of this Space. Go find those Schillers and inform them to help Spider-Man."
"The problem is, how do we locate those Schillers?" Strange frowned and whispered, "Who knows where they are hiding?"
Stark stroked his chin, pondered for a moment, and then said, "I have a brilliant plan to bait the Schillers..."
"What is it?"
Stark smiled, looking quite pleased with his idea.
Half an hour later, outside the hospital room of Arkham Sanatorium, a crowd of Schillers lined up, and discussions filled the air:
"I heard that Stark's anxiety has worsened..."
"Steve's medication must be problematic!"
"Peter is also ill? What about his medical records? Let me see..."
"Natasha? Yes, being an Agent can lead to psychological issues..."
"Stephen Strange? He has no medical records. Let me handle it! I'm the best at treating complex cases!"
"And who is this person with no name? Amazing Spider-Man? What kind of name is that? I heard he has paranoid delusions. I have experience with that illness!"
"Make way! It's my turn! I'm the head doctor!"
"Don't push! Don't push! Wait in line to see the patients. Each of us will have one patient. Don't rush!"
"I've been waiting for 20 minutes! Let me go in first!"
"Hurry up and let me in! What if they all get better? Where will I find patients?"
Inside the hospital room, Strange, who was lying on the bed, took turns receiving Schillers. He gestured towards Stark with a thumbs-up.
Meanwhile, Amazing Spider-Man collapsed onto a table beside him. On the table were his 200th set of psychological assessment questions...
