To most cybertronians, the name of the Ancient Titans is an alien concept.

However, Sun Cheng is distinctly not among that majority!

Having absorbed the memory data of numerous Decepticons and Autobots like Frenzy, Soundwave, Jazz, Skyfire, and Swindle, he hadn't experienced it personally but found information about the Ancient Titans in the database he specifically set up for cybertron within the Core.

The Ancient Titans, ultra-gigantic warriors that emerged in the ancient era of cybertron, were one of the reference models for the creation of the Autobots and Decepticons' Devastator.

They appeared only a few times during the olden days of cybertron, their exact numbers unknown, with only Omega Supreme, Guardian Titan, and Garuda leaving their names behind.

Legends say the Ancient Titans, like the Giant Fierce Beasts, were terrifying giants born on Cybertron Planet in the earliest times.

Some theories suggest they were, like the cybertron Thirteen Primes, created by the makers as allies in the fight against evil.

Even a knowledgeable figure like Skyfire spent a great deal of time uncovering scant records of the Ancient Titans from many libraries of cybertron's past.

In Soundwave's memories, there was an instance shortly after the outbreak of the cybertron Civil War where three Ancient Titans appeared on the battlefield, attempting to mediate the conflict between the Decepticons and Autobots, albeit unsuccessfully.

The three noted by Soundwave were indeed the only ones among the Ancient Titans who had left their names: Omega Supreme, Guardian Titan, and Garuda.

Given the immense size of the three Ancient Titans, comparable to mountains, they were said to have once transformed and hibernated as three cities during the era of the cybertron Council of Primes.

Thus, the Ancient Titans had two other names: Giant Titans and Citybots.

Sun Cheng's understanding of the Ancient Titans came entirely from the cybertron database and the supplementary memories of Skyfire and Soundwave.

Though he had never witnessed the Ancient Titans himself, he had conducted specific research on powerful Devastators like Hercules, Defensor, and Predaking from both Decepticon and Autobot factions.

Even those Devastators, like Hercules, Defensor, and Predaking, whose merged forms were time-limited, possessed terrifying combat power after combining.

It's imaginable, then, just how fearsome the Ancient Titans, as tall as mountains and rumored to be capable of transforming into cities, could be.

His heart grew wary of what the cybertronian scripts mentioned about Liege Maximo's laboratory on Mars, but at the same time, Sun Cheng couldn't help being intrigued by what the Liege Maximo left behind.

Shadow Guardians, the combat robots resembling cybertronians that Liege Maximo allegedly created after brutally dissecting and studying cybertronians. They possessed no sanity, not even the simplest logical thinking.

The sole purpose of the Shadow Guardians' creation was slaughter and combat. Liege Maximo's hatred for life was imprinted in their very bones, driving them to exterminate every living being in sight, especially cybertronians.

"The ancient cybertronians chasing after Liege Maximo only sealed and hid the laboratory instead of completely destroying it. That suggests the lab still houses Shadow Guardians or perhaps the feared Ancient Titans..."

Sun Cheng knew well that greed was a fundamental sin.

Yet, he couldn't resist his intense interest in the laboratory on Mars established by cybertron Primus. In this perilous world, he wouldn't easily miss anything that could enhance his own strength or that of the forces under his command.

Had it not been for the interference and even life-threatening stance of the six cybertron Primuses under unknown conditions, he wouldn't have abandoned the [Leadership Module].

Now, each time he communicated with Requiem Blaster, he regretted it deeply.

"I need to make time to investigate the situation at the laboratory!"

But as soon as this thought emerged, Sun Cheng forcefully suppressed it.

Though he harbored greed for Liege Maximo's lab, it didn't mean he had lost his mind. If the ancient cybertronians who once hunted Liege Maximo couldn't completely annihilate it, it indicated immense danger within the lab.

Sun Cheng, not yet a Leader-level entity, could only muster fifty Decepticon warriors on Mars. If he carelessly unleashed dangerous Shadow Guardians and unknown-state Ancient Titans, it could destroy his current mechanical body. Despite having numerous life-saving measures, he would still be distraught.

But if Mars' base were exposed or even damaged by Shadow Guardians and Ancient Titans, leading to the destruction of this secure rear base, then all the technology he gained would be a loss compared to his grand strategy.

Moreover, what worried him most was the whereabouts and status of the potentially still alive Liege Maximo.

This Liege Maximo, who was once hunted by multiple cybertron Primuses and might have died in battle (or might just be hiding and dormant like Lord Fallen), posed a serious concern. Sun Cheng feared any traps or alerts set by Liege Maximo in the lab on Mars, like sending an alarm during an invasion and attracting this super Leader.

Though the information he had gleaned indicated that Liege Maximo's combat power was nowhere near Lord Fallen's, he was an utter schemer, a being more dangerous than Starscream.

The fact that Liege Maximo could betray his Primus siblings, ruthlessly setting up Solus Prime's death and driving Megatronus Prime to fall, showed his heart's ruthlessness and vicious methods.

Sun Cheng didn't believe he could face such an entity now and had to curb his greed for the moment.

"Wait, it won't be too long!"

The construction of Sun Cheng's new mechanical body had commenced. Although his extensive requirements made the process slower than Forerunner's, Base Two had been at it for four to five months. Conservatively, it might be another month or two before completion.

Once he acquired his new mechanical body and gathered his main combat force, Sun Cheng was confident they could breach the ancient lab on Mars.

Having organized his thoughts, he didn't linger long in the resting room.

Soon, Sun Cheng emerged from the room.

During his rest, Adam and the others had been industrious, swiftly awakening dormant Decepticons in batches.

So much so that shortly after Sun Cheng stepped out of the resting room, he saw newly arrived Engineers, under the guidance of the first batch of Decepticons, getting acquainted with the Mars base and starting their work.
