Gazing upon Terindad Island, now a scene of utter devastation, nearly reduced entirely to ruins, Sun Cheng frowned, his mood oddly serene.

The destruction of the Black Market was somewhat unexpected, yet also anticipated.

When Sun Cheng initially decided to establish the Black Market on Terindad Island in the South Atlantic Ocean, it was indeed to foster cooperation with the nations of Humanity and to extract more resources from Earth for spaceship construction and to strengthen himself.

Additionally, there was another consideration: using the Black Market to draw more attention to himself, diverting those scouring the entire Earth for Base Two and instead attracting them here.

Sun Cheng didn't believe for a second that Starscream hadn't investigated where his old lair was.

However, investigating was one thing, and finding it was likely only a matter of time for Starscream.

But by successfully diverting his attention to the Black Market here, ensuring the integrity of Base Two, the loss was within an acceptable range.

Of course, this was also just a form of self-consolation.

"Indeed, it's still quite vexing!" he couldn't help but admit.

Looking up towards the direction of the Moon, Sun Cheng wondered if Starscream had already received news of the battle's outcome here.

But now, he was genuinely upset; this grudge, he would remember.

After dealing with the Vehicons, whose conditions drastically deteriorated following the Electromagnetic Pulse Missile attacks, the batch of Decepticon soldiers who rushed for support from Base Two began cleaning up the battlefield.

"Master!"

Accel and Dust Up, each leading a group of Decepticon soldiers, approached Sun Cheng.

Nodding, he acknowledged, "You've worked hard!"

Following a fierce battle, Sun Cheng no longer had the heart for a pep talk.

He glanced at Swindle, who was collapsed on the ground nearby, and the few remaining Decepticon soldiers, his face showing no emotional fluctuations.

"Has a doctor come over? If not, contact the engineers and doctors who have retreated to other islands to come back and tend to the wounded on the island."

His gaze finally landed on Thunder, who was in terrible shape.

Thunder was considerably stronger than Swindle, an exceptionally skilled fighter among the elite. In the recent battle, he had killed twenty to thirty Vehicons, only slightly fewer than Sun Cheng.

However, for this reason, he also faced the onslaught of numerous Decepticon Vehicons, almost suffering damage to his Spark and even losing an arm, with injuries all over.

Without rest and treatment from the doctors, it was uncertain how much fighting capability Thunder still possessed.

After a moment's thought, Sun Cheng directly ordered, "Thunder, return to Base Two immediately. I'll arrange for Atlas and the others to prepare a new mechanical body for you as soon as Forerunner awakens."

This sudden invasion of the Black Market could have led to a different scenario if he hadn't been overly cautious in the past.

Although they had held their ground, this pyrrhic victory was not what Sun Cheng wanted. He began to reflect on the deficiencies and lessons as soon as the battle ended.

The lack of mid-to-low-end combat power among his subordinates was the most significant issue revealed in this battle.

However, regarding mid-to-low-end combat power, Sun Cheng glanced at the ground strewn with Decepticon Vehicon debris everywhere.

Based on his speculation, the wreckage could provide him with at least three to four hundred soldiers, their combat effectiveness slightly inferior to that of the Vehicons' Decepticon warriors.

This generous gift from Starscream could indeed be seen as accelerating his development.

However, when it came to high-end combat power, this deficiency urgently needed addressing.

"If I want to reach a point where even Megatron feels compelled to set aside his hatred and court me, I need at least a dozen Elite Warriors at my command!" Sun Cheng set a goal for himself, his gaze turning towards Thunder with renewed scrutiny.

It was impossible for him not to harbor any caution towards Thunder. In fact, the inherently suspicious Sun Cheng was wary not just of Thunder, who underwent the Blackout Core awakening, but also another one of his Core Generals -- Forerunner. He couldn't let his guard down around Forerunner, whose Core originated from Starscream. Who knew if this fellow might turn out to be like Swindle, another Decepticon who had been bitterly betrayed by Starscream in the past.

Reviving the dead might be a distant dream for ordinary Autobots and Decepticons, but Starscream, who spent years nurturing Vehicons and stood as a top-tier scientist within the Skytiger Legion, considered the awakening technology just a slightly technical feat.

Had Swindle not encountered Sun Cheng, who knew how much longer he would have been at Starscream's mercy.

Consequently, Sun Cheng, who had long planned to upgrade his Decepticons' mechanical bodies, delayed until now.

"No matter, I should trust those I use and not suspect those I trust. Even if they all betray me, I still have my personal Legion," Sun Cheng conceded.

Thunder, hearing Sun Cheng's order to return to Base Two for his mechanical body transformation, paused, his expression freezing for a moment. But soon, his face showed rare emotional fluctuation, clearly one of excitement and anticipation.

"I understand, Master!" Thunder bowed slightly and then leaped into the air, transforming into a heavily armed helicopter covered in scars, heading towards Base Two.

Although Accel and the others felt envious, they had been informed that their mechanical body upgrades would happen in the coming months. So while they envied Thunder, they harbored no jealousy.

Swindle, on the other hand, exhibited a constantly changing expression of envy and resentment.

Sun Cheng merely glanced at him out of the corner of his eye and then ignored him. This guy had already missed the window of trust Sun Cheng was willing to offer. He wouldn't be given another chance, and it was time to decide how to deal with him.

Sun Cheng dispatched a group of subordinates who had come to assist to clean up the island battlefield. He then walked towards the three landed warships, closely inspecting the small space battleships transformed from the Hope-class Spaceship that he had personally designed.

The Hope-class was a flat, streamlined spaceship, shaped like an isosceles right triangle, somewhat similar to the United States B-2 stealth bomber.

By the time of its final version, the Hope-class Spaceship was 27.51 meters long, had a wingspan of 32.3 meters, stood 15.36 meters high, with an empty weight of 94.25 tons, and a maximum takeoff weight of around 164 tons.

This experimental spaceship, intended for reconnaissance and transportation within the Star galaxy, couldn't be considered highly advanced, but it had its merits.

However, when Sun Cheng's Decepticon engineers militarized it based on the Hope-class Spaceship, the original mechanical body was obviously too small.

After redesign and modification, these three small space battleships didn't change much in overall appearance but underwent enhancements in weight and mass.

Directly connecting with the Central Main Control AI on the three warships, Sun Cheng received the most accurate battleship data.

They were 31.2 meters long, had a wingspan of 35.17 meters, stood 17.9 meters tall, with an empty weight of 137.52 tons, and a maximum takeoff weight of around 227 tons.

Clearly, the added length and space were utilized for installing weapons and ammunition bays.
